Appliance Repair
We have a home warranty and Miles & Clark were the appliance dealer assigned to fix our microwave.  The first appointment no one showed up and I had to repeatedly call their office to see if anyone was ever going to show up.  Someone finally talked to me at 8pm that night telling me they couldn't find anyone to come out because two people didn't show up for work that day.  So, he made an appointment for someone to come on Monday.  A man did come on Monday and assessed my broken microwave.  He informed me they would have to order a part.  Well a week goes by and I don't hear anything.  At 12 days post visit, I call them only to get their answering machine again. I leave a message to call me ASAP regarding the status of my part. No phone call comes. At 15 days post visit, I call again. Again, voice mail and I leave the message to call me ASAP.  Day 18, I had enough, I called them and told them to call me regarding the status and told them I would be contacting the warranty company, as again, I got an an answering machine.  I contacted the warranty company and what do you know, Miles and Clark call me immediately. They inform me that the part was on back order and they thought it would be in on Friday.  I told them that they need to keep their customers updated on these things as I was now with out a microwave for almost a month.  He informed me the part should be in on Friday and he would call me on Friday to let me schedule a time to come out.  He never called on Friday and so we talked to the warranty company. They went on search for the part and found out that there was no part out there to be had and so we settled with them and bought a new microwave.
The lack of communication Miles and Clark gives to their customers is inexcusable
