First they walked us through the entire plan and made sure we were comfortable with everything they planned to do and the steps it would take to get to the final results.  It was a pleasure watching true professionals at work, they hit there projected finish date with ease and worked at times that would not conflict with my schedule... A+++++++ I would recommend them for anyone looking for contractors who know their craft inside and out, are meticulous and extremely detail oriented... all the way down to making sure all the screws in light switches and plugs are facing the same direction!

Our experience with Snyder Remodeling was positive. We had a big project in bringing a newly purchased 14 year old home up to date through painting the entire house, adding wood flooring and redoing the flooring finish, adding a wall of new cabinets in the kitchen, updating two bathrooms, etc. Mike and his team had other projects going at the time we contacted them, but they started our project on evenings and weekends after already long days and weeks of work. We greatly appreciated that. As projects progressed, Mike and his team had wonderful suggestions for additional renovation, such as widening doorways, removing an unused desk in the kitchen and re-centering cabinetry on that wall and they accommodated additional requests on our part as they became obvious, like additional lighting in the master bedroom and dining area of the kitchen, new outlets here and there, making strange windows look like they belonged I the house with beautiful finish work, etc., etc.. We had a few issues with some of the subcontractors brought in, but Mike had our back in those situations and remedied any issues. We greatly appreciated that as well.

The basement was full of things that my Dad have kept over the years. Mike helped me clean it out. He cleaned out the basement that was full of junk. They checked with me on things that they thought I wanted. They are just really good. They have always helped us out.

Snyder Remodeling were great. We have used them several times. We live in an old house and if we run into things we don't anticipate they have been able to take care of it with no problems. Even if it took a little bit longer, they had no problems fitting the rest of the work in quickly. We would definitely use them in the future.

Mike Snyder can do anything! He had to cut away part of our hard wood floor that had been previously installed right up and into our fireplace opening in our 1890s house. This had to be done with precision as the new tile that he installed for our hearth needed to sit flush and even with the rest of our hardwood flooring. As the house is very old, the flooring itself was fairly uneven but he was able to level out the tile with no problems. We also had to have the surrounding tile on the face of the fireplace redone in preparation for a new gas insert. This ended up being a bigger project than expected as the original supporting bricks started to crumble when they were exposed. Mike was able to remove the damaged areas, reframe, and tile the surround in time for our insert installation that we had scheduled with a fireplace company. He did a great job! Very happy!

I don't think I've ever had a better experience with any sort of contractor. The crew came on time, worked to accommodate my schedule, and did an amazing job. They are conscientious and very capable, not to mention that they are very nice guys who take loads of pride in their work. I took bids from several other contractors and their bid was the lowest by a good margin. Ordinarily I might hesitate to hire the guys with the lowest bid in case I was being lowballed but because of their ratings on Angie's List I took a leap and could not be happier I did. These guys know how to solve unexpected problems and are very easy to work with. Their final price was right on the estimate...they did not nickel and dime me for minor changes like most contractors do. My only regret is that they are so busy now it's hard to get on their schedule for smaller jobs. But they will always be the first guys I call.

It went just as Mike said it would. He told us the flooring would need to acclimate for a few days before he could install it. Mike and his assistant arrived on time and were very professional. They did a beautiful, quality job in line with the quote. I've used Snyder Remodeling in the past and that's why I aske them to do our floors. Mike is reliable, professional and his work is top notch. I won't hesitate to use him again or recommend his work to our friends and neighbors.

While we were in the initial phase of deciding who to hire to complete this work, I visited the home of one of Mike’s clients, and knew as soon as I left that Mike was the right guy for the job based on the beautiful basement that Mike had created for this client and the utterly glowing recommendation that he gave. Mike and his crew are incredibly easy to work with, professional, prompt, respectful, trustworthy, neat, and extremely tolerant of our two young boys. This project went more smoothly than I ever could have imagined. Mike always asked my opinion before proceeding, ensuring that I was happy with all of the work. All of the guys were extremely approachable and I never felt uncomfortable asking them questions. These guys went well above and beyond what I ever would have expected in terms of their workmanship and general demeanor. They were so incredibly helpful to us throughout the entire process, from helping us make decisions to searching high and low for various items that we wanted to include. I would trust Mike and his crew with any home project and would not even consider going with anyone else. I have already recommended him to a few friends who are looking for a contractor.

This project was executed in the summer of 2009. We had worked with Mike before and are happy to say that we had as pleasant an experience as we did the first time around with our master bathroom. They were, as usual, trustworthy, prompt, courteous, reasonably priced, and produced high quality work. This time around we used the services of a design professional given the complexity of the project. New Angle Design came up with the perfect dream kitchen concept for us and Mike and his team worked seamlessly with the designer to make our dream come true. Full disclosure prompts me to state that the project slipped roughly 2 weeks, but this was mostly due to the inherent complexity of the project and the back and forth nature of the interaction between the designer, Mike and us. The good thing is that the end result is outstanding and we are fully satisfied. We have no hesitation in recommending his services.

My wife and I designed the bathroom ourselves and sourced all the materials as well. Mike was very easy to coordinate with and helped take our design and convert it into reality. After searching for 2 years for someone to replace crumbling cement steps, I found Mike Snyder on Angie's list. He responded in a timely manner for the estimate and also completed the project within the time he suggested. His work is excellent. I appreciated how he made the railing match the railing on the second floor balcony. I will definitely call him again.

Mike and his crew had remodelled our master and guest bathrooms and we knew what great work they did. So when my father had to go into assisted living we knew who to call. My father's house was 58 years old and needed quite a bit of remodeling prior to selling. The realtor gave us a list of what needed done and we turned the job over to Mike. Not only did he make all necessary repairs and remodeling, he helped us clean out years of stuff my Dad never threw away. We had 3 dumptsters full which was a lot of work Mike and his crew completed. The basement had flooded periodically and all the paneling in the game room had to be removed and replaced with drywall. The entire bath was remodeled floor to ceiling, new commode in powder room, new cabinets and countertops in kitchen, removed old car port, painted entire house inside including the basement floors, cleaned out 2 outdoor sheds, took up old carpeting - there were so many jobs they tackled it's hard to list them all. We had already taken all items from the house that were personal to us and even if Mike and his crew came across anything that they thought we would want, they would set aside before throwing away. These men are excellent workers. No matter when they were at the house working, when they left, all tools, paint, etc. were put away and the house was neat. If Mike had a question about anything he never went forward without contacting us first. We can't say enough about Snyder Remodeling. They are very hard workers - their work is neat, clean, they are prompt and reliable. We even gave them a key to the house so they could work at their schedule since there was not an immediate need to sell. The house is now in top notch shape and hopefully will sell quickly. We could never have done all this work ourselves. If you are looking for a reliable professional remodeller, Snyder Remodeling will exceed your expectations. With my father in assisted living at the time, and with us living 1/2 hour away from his house, it was a comfort to know we didn't have to worry about the work being done.

Very Professional and detail oriented group. Set up scaffolding. Installed wood on ceiling and around skylights. I would hire these guys again in a minute.

Mike visited our home and gave a prompt, detailed estimate. Once the work dates were confirmed, we began to order materials. Mike and his team picked up and stored the larger materials for us, such as the tub and shower walls. When the work began they did a thorough job of laying protective covering on the floors and carpeting of the house. As we were at work during the day, Mike would call if he had any questions before he did anything major if we didn't make it clear as to what we wanted. He even volunteered to come over in the evenings if we wanted to see him to talk over anything related to the project. Also, he and his team cleaned up at the end of each day, and stacked their tools neatly in the garage and the bathrooms. The work was completed on time and budget as we agreed during the estimating process. Mike and his team are professional, courteous, and highly skilled. We couldn't have been happier with the way everything turned out.

Mike returned my call within one day. He came to the appointment on time and spent two hours talking with me. He explained the technical part of the job in a very clear way. I was very impressed by his pleasant communicative way of interacting with me. Mike also directed me to several kitchen designers and places where I could buy flooring, cabinets, and counter tops. Mike did the work while my wife and I were away. I was impressed by his consistent communications by email to update me on the work and to ask me questions. We only had one problem that stopped him from completing the job before I returned home, and this was not Mike's fault. Rather, the counter top company was unable to complete the order in time to install it. Mike and his crew did an outstanding job. The workmanship is excellent. Mike was able adjust the slightly flawed design so that the cabinets and counter tops fit. The painting is articulate, and the his ability to work with wood is truly outstanding.

We are extremely happy with both jobs. The quality of their workmanship is outstanding, they clean the work areas at the end of every day and are just generally two of the nicest contractors you could have at your house. All though they are a "labor" only team, Mike was very helpful with suggestions as to what we needed and where to get some of the items. He also made a few good suggestions as to some minor changes in the bathroom. Their labor cost for both jobs was very reasonable. We feel we saved at least $5000 on our kitchen and probably $2000 on the bathroom over a turn-key contractor using this approach. Additionally, Mike and Dave can do all the installation work including plumbing, electrical, flooring and appliance installation. Our kitchen was totally redone in 7 days and the bathroom in 4 days, although in both cases we made no major lay out changes. We have already contracted Mike and Dave to redo our master bath and replace our front steps.
