Nothing but problems. Sheet rock in kitchen came down repeatedly due to leak. Then in the living room. Next was a leak around the chimney. It was like pulling teeth to get a response from Garvin and each repair had to be done more than once. Now there is mold all over the kitchen due to a fourth area that is leaking due to incorrect installation. He is now saying the subcontractor he hired should be responsible. The owner ignores complaints. He did send some one to put a tarp on the roof so the structural damage and mold caused by the leaking roof can be repaired. He does not respond to communication by phone email or text. I don't know about the price - would not hire again if it was free.

Work went quickly and well. Meticulous about cleaning after themselves daily.

I was eight months pregnant and my current roof was leaking. Mike Novak put me on a special priority list to make sure that the project was completed before my son was born. I appreciated his help very much.

The job was completed on time, at the cost provided and in the most professional manner. I cannot be more pleased with the outcome. I recommend them to anyone without question.

The estimate we received was reasonable and on the lower end of all that we got. Comunication with the contractor started out very good prior to the work, but deteriorated soon thereafter. The owner of the company all but stoped communicating with us during the job, making it very difficult to reach him when problems arose, which they did frequently.
Multiple problems - where to begin. The owner forgot to order the roofing supplies which set us back a few weeks. When the work crew arrived there was a lot of confusion regarding what the job details were. They had to contact the owner and he was so busy because he was managing multiple jobs (there was a hail being coordinated that he was of little help in directing them.
They worked fairly efficiently but the entire job still took nearly 2 months for a 2,000 square foot home. They would leave and come back days later. Loads of garbage left behind that was left for several weeks, which killed the grass where it was piled. Cigarette butts everywhere as well as screws and metal fragments that we are still picking up. There were mulitple defects in the roofing that required correction and many panels needed to be replaced. Installation of the gutters and downspouts was done by a contracted company that showed up in the afternoon and installed half the gutters in the dark. Same problems as described above - poor communication.
The company was good, however, in fixing the problems and did not argue with us at all. They were very willing to correct all that was done wrong and wanted us to be happy in the end. Its too bad that they were so inefficient in completing the work, becuase it seemed so wasteful.

Only thing done without prompting from me was cashing the deposit check. Service was at best adequate. Phone messages regarding completion of the job have yet to be answered. This contractor doesn't seem to know what communication is. I am not pleased with appearance of the roof.


Update,  1/5/2015 :
  After 2 months I was finally contacted about my previous review. The owner came and talked to me about my complaints. He agreed to send someone to make some changes, the worker showed up new years eve day and did exactly what I requested. The end result was a better appearance that I am satisfied with.
