This restoration exceeded my expectations. Many friends with building trades experience told me that the door, especially the screen door could not be restored. Vince took the door off and replaced it with plywood while he took the door and refinished in his workshop. He stripped many layers of paint. Replaced rotted wood to a degree that it looked like the original. He cleaned brass hardware. Friends told me to "forget restoring the screen door." Vince was positive from the first look that he could restore the door.
I am beyond pleased with the work he did.
