My poor dog Rudy was suffering quite a lot this past week. He couldn't urinate and every time he tried, it was an endless struggle with nothing to show for it. I brought him to PVS to see if the vet could figure it out. I arrived, the receptionist was kind and helpful and relieved my anxiety over the situation. Quickly, one of the girls in the back came out, got me into a room and asked me a lot of questions, which I really appreciated. Not too long after, the doctor (I believe her name was Dr. VanHorn) came in and conducted some diagnostics on poor Rudy only to find that he was suffering because he was blocked from bladder stones. The girls were able to give me an estimate on the cost of the surgery he would need and in the mean time made sure to drain his bladder so he was at least comfortable. Promptly, they were able to schedule surgery the next day (he had eaten that day so he wasn't able to have surgery then) and sent him home with a urinary catheter, bag, pain meds and antibiotics. I then brought him in for surgery the next day and he was returned to me later that day. He was so much happier! If it wasn't for the incredible team at PVS, who knows what would've happened. They are kind and really do seem to care a whole lot about the patients. They have a family-like feel, something that would make any pet owner feel comfortable. I can guarantee I will continue bringing all of my pets to this wonderful animal hospital!

The medical care has been great. I do think his prices are a little on the high side, but I know that he is always there when we need him. He has treated six of our dogs over the years. Dr. Wayne can be a little rough around the edges, especially if you don't know him and his personality. I like Dr. Wayne and think he is a really good vet-- that truly loves the animals he treats.

The doctor I use here is Dr. Eric Wayne. They are friendly. You can generally get an appointment within 24 hours. The clinic works almost 247. They are expensive during emergencies, but I think they are not more expensive than any other emergency clinics. I have been using them for about five years and I will continue using them in the future.
