Smart Roof Cleaning

Outstanding. These guys are absolutely fantastic: professional, responsive, friendly, easy to work with, and most importantly, they do really excellent work. My roof was in bad shape--covered with thick patches of moss and algae. In fact, before contacting Smart Roof Cleaning, I had asked a different provider to come out and give me a quote--they took one look and said it was beyond their capabilities. But after 2 treatments by Smart Roof Cleaning, it looks like a whole new roof. They also did a great job cleaning my gutters. Their prices are reasonable, and Brad (one of the co-owners) couldn't have been easier to work with or more considerate. I have every intention of using Smart Roof Cleaning again!!!

Brad is the owner of Smart Roof Cleaning. I was extremely pleased with his responsiveness, professionalism and quality of work. He came to my house within a couple of days of my contacting him, gave me a very reasonable estimate, and completed the work when he said he would. Now that he is done, the house looks brand new! The roof, siding and sidewalks are immaculate. I was especially impressed with the thoroughness of his work. He removed the gutter guards that cover my gutters so he could thoroughly clean them out. He told me he would leave them off for a couple of weeks so the rain would wash any remaining roof moss through the gutters rather than running over the guards, onto my patio and flowerbeds. He returned a couple of weeks later, gave the roof a 2nd washing, and replaced all of the gutter guards. He uses chemicals rather than power washing and thoroughly rinses everything down with water. None of our plants were harmed.

Brad and Shaun made the entire property sparkle. It made a huge difference in the appearance. This is the second property I had this same level of work performed on and I will use them again. I am including some before and after photos.

Smart Roof did a fantastic job of cleaning our home and gutters. We had staining on our stucco and gutters as well as our roof. Brad and Shawn were so careful to cover our many bushes and flowers so that the cleaning process would not harm anything. I never thought that the staining would come out of the stucco, but they cleaned everything to perfection. I had another company provide a quote, but Smart Roof was far more reasonable and also flexible with giving a bigger discount with more work. We are very pleased with this company!

I found this provider in the Angie's List monthly magazine. I called for an estimate on a Tuesday and they got back to me the next morning. The estimated price was well into my range and they were able to do the gutter that very morning, about an hour after the call. I was extremely pleased with their service and responsiveness. I have recommended them to family members and will use them again when we need another cleaning.

I cannot say enough good about Brad Hagen and his crew. They power washed my stucco home, first taking care to cover all the plantings and walkways around the house. The service was fast; the results were fantastic. They were even able to remove old oil stains from a gas gril on a Trex deck, something we were never able to do. Cleaned tops, bottoms, and between spindles on porch railings. All with no damage to the stucco or anything else. Then they replaced old worn collars on our 3 roof vents. Work completed in less than half an hour. Price for each was extremely reasonable. Plus, the men were polite, professional, not sloppily dressed, and may I say they are Veterans. All good in my book. I would never use anyone else.

The services were performed professionally and the house looks much better. I think it was a good value and would recommend them. It is a small company of two guys so it is owner/operated.

I actually found them from a lawn sign on a roof they did in our area. These guys were very good. It is an owner operated company, two of them. One is an Army vet and the other is a Marine veteran. The owner’s name is Brad Hagen. It was really very nice. They were great. They did exactly what they said they were going to do. They did a fine job on it. I was really happy with the job they did and then maybe about a week later, they were driving by the neighborhood. He saw it and he said that there was some stuff that he was unhappy with and he redid my whole roof. I thought it looked great, but he said there were a bit of touch up he wanted to do and he redid the whole thing. I was pretty impressed. They did not charge me on that visit. They came in a good clip less than some of the other estimates I got even from some Angie’s List providers that are working for this. I plan on using them again on my deck in the spring.
