Great, very professional and on time

The Basement Lifeguard team did an amazing job. After 2 previous companies did very little the Basement Lifeguards were able to rework the failing system and I have not had a problem since. The were on time, clean and efficient!

Mike’s work and attention to detail was impressive. Very professional, honest, and fair with evaluation of situation and pricing/options.

Absolutely fantastic. Mike’s crew came in and did the job quickly and correctly. We hit some expected snags that they were able to address and were also flexible in making some adjustments I asked for while work was underway. Mike is not pushy or salesy, just a good honest guy who does high quality work for a price that us literally 50%-75% of some of his competitors because he has less overhead. It’s been almost a year now since the work was done and we haven't had a single problem. I’ve recommended Basement Lifeguard to others, and will do so again.

Very good experience. Mike knew his profession well, answered all of my questions and did a very nice install. The water powered backup pump had a defect to which he was quick to respond with a replacement. I would recommend his services.

He came out for an emergency call in the hours before Hurricane Sandy hit our area to install a new sump pump with a battery backup sump pump. We had issues with poor grading in our yard that caused water to come into the basement and he left an extra sump pump that he had with him in case the water coming in overran the regular pump. The hurricane was literally starting while he was completing the work and he really went above and beyond to help us. Couldn’t ask for better customer service.

The owner, Mike, came to our house himself to conduct the estimate. He was very professional, honest, and knowledgeable in his field. Mike takes pride in his work and has even checked in even months after the installation to ensure we were satisfied with the job.

My basement had water in it and the walls were sweating. The Basement Lifeguard was to waterproof the basement. They put in a french drain. One month later I noticed that the problem is not resolved. I called then to let them know and they refused to come out and even look at the continuing problem. I have called them several times. Now I am being told that they think it is a different problem. I would not recommend using this company they do not follow through or even care to come look at the job when there is a problem. I am willing to let them come out and fix the problem. This is all I want, a dry basement.

They worked with me from start to finish to effectively resolve water issues in my basement. They responded to my follow up questions promptly.  They were professional, courteous and understanding of my concerns. I waited a year to submit this review to assure there were no problems with the work that was done, and my basement has remained dry through a very wet spring. I am deeply thankful!

The first thing that impressed me about Mike was that he was NOT a salesman.  He is the owner of the company, who comes out to do estimates, then WILL be on the job while it is being completed.  When he arrived for the estimate, we went to the basement and found that the hot water heater was leaking.  My family was leaving for a vacation in a few days and was obviously I was very upset about this!  Mike saw my concern and he stopped to help me to deal with the situation at hand, leading me to the next steps to deal with the hot water heater.  Once I knew what to do, he finished his NO PRESSURE estimate, listening to my concerns and formulated solutions which worked for my family, as well as our budget!  When I called Mike back a couple of days later to schedule a date to begin the work, he first asked how my hot water heater situation was!  I felt that he respected me, and was concerned about me, not just the job!
Mike was on site for the entire job, beginning to end.  He and his crew were respectful of our home, including our cats, and each day when they left, the area were cleaned up.  We did not pay anything up front, only paid in full at the end.  There were no hidden costs, and the price that we were quoted is the priced that we paid.   When we had a concern a few weeks after the work was completed, Mike promptly returned to deal with the concerns.
I don't know that I have enough words to express how highly I recommend Basement Lifeguard.  I wish that every company could be so honest, and respectful of their customers!

Awesome service. Mike responded quickly to our request and came out to take a look at our problem. Mike was very honest and very informative. The work was completed in a timely manner and we have not had a single drop of water in our basement since. I will recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a basement guy! I plan to use them again in the future when we move into our new house!

Bid was good, he was the first bidder that understood that I just wanted my basement resealed and didn't want a new sump and 6K plus project.  I can't really compare his bid because he was the only one that actually listened to me and bid the job I wanted done rather than the job they wanted to do, but it seemed reasonable.  He got his crew in quickly and completed the job in one day.  My only complaint is about the cleanup, which quite frankly could have been a little better.

They did a great job. Came in and gave me an honest assessment of the water problems and the best possible solution.

on time, full quote gotten in 6 hours after calling them. Very pleasant crew & hard working. Finished a day ahead of time and cleaned up when they were done. Carried all trash away. Would definately recommend
