I have used A&H for several years without any problems, however last year (2016) I had them reseal my driveway and patch a crack, the patch lasted about 2-3 weeks, I called them to fix it before winter set in, someone came, looked at it, and did nothing about it. I called them in April to come out and fix the crack before it gets any bigger, never heard back from them. Now I have to find someone else to do the job I paid them to do.

Owner recently addressed problem with cracked paving and stated he had been very sick and his company unfortunately did not return my calls or mail regarding the 2-year warranty on the paving. Owner recently showed up in person to apologize and arranged for the repair. We no longer have any complaint about A&H Paving.

Contracted for enlarging existing driveway which was done in a timely manner and completed wel. THe low area where drive enters road was low and collected watter which caused problems when frozen on entering or exiting driveway to road. THey broke out existing low area and repaved, but only left it the same as before they begun. Same issue with low spot. then when they sealed older areas of drive they didn't sufficiantly clean prior to applying coating so it didn't adhere.We contacted them with dissatisfaction, They returned and had to be strongly persuaded to redo the work as it was bubbling up in large areas. it came off in chunks with dust and grit under it keeping it from sticking. So, they took OUR hose, which we had recently purchased, and used it with our water to "clean the drive and reapplied sealant. When they left our hose was left out uncoiled and spotted heavily with sealant. When we called to complain no one there took responsibliity. THe drive still has areas where the sealant never stuck and our hose is still stained and ugly. We would NOT reccomend this company, which had been recommended to us.( Ur friend had older men doing the work for him, but ou r job was done by very young men.)

They arrived promptly at 8am the next day and started work right away. They also moved a huge pile of mulch, which they agreed to in the original price, off the driveway and for a little extra money, they spread it around my flower beds. I had to loan them a wheel barrow and a snow shovel.  I had to leave for work so my wife home and she called when they were done which was just a couple of hours. They put down seal coat, sealed some cracks and put down patch material on the edge of the driveway which was crumbling away. After a few days the patch material was still soft and squishy. I called them several times (left messages) and finally reached someone live on the phone. The woman didn't understand my concerns and said she was going to have me talk to the owner then the phone cut off. They never called back. It appears someone came back to fix the squishy patching material. They never called to say they had been our or even left a note. After a week or two I noticed that seal coat on the area of the driveway where the mulch was , was coming up. It appears they didn't prep the driveway properly by clearing the fine dust left behind after moving the mulch. They told me that they had "high powered blowers" and would take care of it because I specifically mentioned it. I started calling again last week to have them come back and fix this. I have not received any calls as of writing this. If I don't hear from by the end of the day tomorrow, I will be driving down to their office for an in person visit. I don't think I got the best price but it was convenient and I had been putting this off for too long. This is really no way to run a business. I have the impression that these people do "hit and run" subpar jobs hoping no one will know about their track record. I wouldn't even recommend them to someone I didn't like.

Since the installment of the driveway the asphalt has never hardened properly and the driveway continued to unravel. One year after installation we are constantly dealing with loose asphalt, loose rocks, and now entire areas are coming apart along with depressions in the ground. You can literally pick at the asphalt with your finger and move the unhardened asphalt and rock. Numerous calls to Mr. Harris were never answered. I filed a law suit in frustration for $4000 and was awarded the entire amount by the Lansdale, PA, court in October 2010. Mr. Harris has not responded to the Court?s orders and has not refunded my money.

Very bad experience.

Workers did a wonderful job and were on time as promised. The problem arose when I tried to content Mr. Harris (owner) to return after the job was completed. Water puddles at the driveway entrance. This was to have been addressed during the original job. After six calls over the period of three weeks, I have still not heard back from Mr. Harris.
