This company's sales rep is slick, he talks to you about everything with your project then next you know it. Your in a contract . They give you 3 or 10 days to back out but they dont give you a copy or send contract to you by email. You have to kiss there ass or demand a copy from them. The crew cleaned most debris up after job but weeks later I'm still cleaning up nails around my home and other debri left behind. And if there is any truss rot on your roof they dont inform you and just cover it up with new shingles. Thought it would been more expense to fix. But they dont say a thing. And far as an inspection of roof , forget it. Because they never did one before the job gets started or at all. They will also get you to sign papers for permission for them to go through a bank in newyork, Sunlight bank. Dont let them bc the bank is only out to help contractors not the customers. BE AWARE OF THIS COMPANY AND SUNLIGHT BANK IN NEWYORK . DONT SIGN ANYTHING UNTIL YOU GET HARD COPIES OF ALL CONTRACTS AND TAKE TO A LAWYER

Great people to deal with. With Bob at the office; Jaime who started and dealt with the project; the workers who actually did the job and even the photographer who took pictures before and after the finished work were all #1 in my book. I am very pleased with everything.

I highly recommend this company. They were able to do my job in about 2 weeks after I signed the contract. The job was finished in 1 day. It's 7 months now--and so far--everything is fine. They did a wonderful job with very high quality materials. Their materials far surpass most other contractors. There is a lifetime warranty on a roof replacement. The roof itself has about 4 layers of materials (much more than most others). The materials include a fire protective underlayment. They're ice resistant, have a Sol-R-skin heat barrier and a special vent which helps protect against high winds. Their nails are special made with barbs so that they hold the asphalt roofing in place and there is a special sealing adhesive that envelops the nails so that there is almost no hole left for any possible leaking to occur. They also have a "no nails" guarantee which means that they guarantee all their nails will be cleaned up after the job is finished. If you find any of their nails (which are definitely different from other nails), they promise you $1 for every nail you find (up to $100). I did find some nails--and I did receive payment for them! When I called about a leak they were here in about 2 hours and they're about 45 minutes away from me. The leak, however, was NOT from their job but they were so kind and helpful in helping me find the cause of the leak--which was actually beyond their duty since it wasn't their fault. I will reiterate--I HIGHLY recommend this company. They have been marvelous.

Michala, our rep, was great. We had our garage roof replaced and liked it so much we had the roof on our house done also. The workman were very efficient, did great work and cleaned up the area very well. I wouldnâ t hesitate to use them on another job.

A plus work and the salesman Mike Shefcyk educated us on the differences of different style roofs what to look for, made it so easy to choose American Remodeling!!

Mike Shefoyle and Ian Foltz were my supposed contacts. They were adamant about receiving payment in full when the job was complete. They tried to get payment before completion (the gutter guard I paid for was not installed). So the next day someone came out and installed it. So I paid for them. However, the dumpster remained in the driveway for close to three weeks. Is not the job complete once all work is done and all garbage removed? Also, I have called both Mike and Ian (combined) close to a dozen times requesting they honor their no nail guarantee. Since they were already paid,, they refused to take my calls or honor their guarantee. The illegals they had working for them did a fine job. Considering Mike and Ian previous performance, I doubt they were paid fairly. Everything considered, I would not recommend this company. If you do, make sure that you do not pay in full until the dumpster is removed and the guarantee is honored. I prefer to spend my hard earned money with men of integrity. I have been calling about the no nail written guarantee, with no call backs. They are only interested and getting paid, and not helping the customers. Buyer Beware! On 11/9/2022 I recevied a check from American Enterprise for 17 dollars ( no mail guaranteed)

Completely unsatisfied with what they promised and did not deliver.

Had a few place that were leaking, along with around the chimney. Said they will all be fixed. I called them several times came back I believe twice. I could see hole from inside to out side. And still leaked around the chimney. After several more calls saying they would come back, but never did, nor call me. I called again and they stated they do not touch chimneys. So why did they say the leak would be fixed and not tell me that. Never heard of joy reflashing a chimney when doing a chimney.

American Remodeling was awesome! They were very professional and did the work when they said they would and finished quickly. They did a great job.

They destroyed my attic and my bedroom due to their lousy installation.. I have my insurance and theirs repairing the damage done by this lousy team which is still on going. Do not use them Dont... beware. I warned you. They so called claimed a lifetime guarantee for their work (which is a lie) and when you ask for follow up they spend more time blaming you and shaming you for the issues. Their roofing team ran by Miguel, run, dont bother. They are a bunch of salesman and then sub-contract the work to someone else. And if they do work themselves they are mediocre at best. You are better hiring someone else off the street, they have caused more damage than good. My insurance along with other business they confirmed and proven that it was their fault and not mine for the shotty work.

Living in a townhome, we had a specific type of roof that was needed. They were able to provide that specific shingle. We understood what was needed to be done. There was a lack of communication between the supervisor of the job site and us. Weather delayed them arriving, but there was no phone call to tell us that. We needed to call to find out when they were going to come out and replace our roof. We understood but would have liked them to reach out to us instead of us calling after them. The first part of the crew arrived around 7 am, but they had to wait for the rest of the crew, which did not arrive until around 9 am. They backed up to the front door that we were not able to open our door. The crew put tarps down in the front and the back of the house to catch the old roof. The crew was not as cautious with how they threw down materials. Some landed on our neighbors decks. Our one neighbor told us that they had to move it because it almost hit her screen in her sliding glass door and tore the screen. They did have the roof replaced in one day and picked up after themselves. They did go to both our neighbors and picked up the materials they threw down. Overall they are a good company, and I would recommend them.

Clear understanding of what was needed and what we wanted done.. Professional crew did a great job. No hard sell, no pressure, good price. These guys understand the local market and know their stuff. You will not regret hiring them. They had the materials we wanted, in the color we wanted and since our roof was already leaking they got to it in just a couple of days. That is real service.

The install crew left staples, roofing nails, and razor blades in my driveway after they left which I had to clean up. The bin or dumpster placed in my driveway had the asphalt scrapped due to one roller not turning freely when picked up after the roof installed. I was hardly able to communicate with the install crew because they barely spoke English. I noticed my leaf filter screen was damaged in two places after they were there. They sent the crew back and I showed them the damage. The crew chief said he would tell his boss but no one ever got back to me. Also, I called the salesman and he never made an effort to get the damage resolved. I also told them to look at the skylights in my sunroom. The crew chief said he caulked around the skylights but when it rained last they were still leaking. I have two pans on the floor in the sunroom to catch any water that drips down.

Just installed about 38 sq. roofing on my property. Migual, and his roofing team were outstanding. They arrived at 7 a.m. and immediately started on the project, and were completely finished by 6:30 p.m. The team was very friendly, engaging and continually asking if I had any questions or concerns. My roof is very steep, cathedral type, all the roofers worked off ropes and harnesses, only ladder used was to inimitably get on to the roof. They placed tarps totally around the property, and after the clean up only 1 nail was found. I would recommend Migual and his team for any project anyone may have. I had estimates from local contractors for less money, but decided to go with American roofing because of the project director who 1st visited and evaluated the job, she sold me on what the roofing team would deliver, and the quality work they would perform, and they delivered. Bottom line, the roofing teams performance is what makes this a 5.

When my Windows were installed and the old molding discarded they had no intention of finishing the job with new molding. After fighting for the molding I had to fight for it to be stained. The casement windows on either side of the picture window did not close properly, it took over a year for that to get fixed, since it was fixed in March I have not opened my windows yet so I am not really sure if it is fixed. Anyway, the window needed to be pulled out some and a window sill added. The sill is a board, not a nice piece of molding or something sanded with a nice edge, no, it is a board that was not even sanded, they did stain it. However, they will do your job as cheaply as possible and I mean cheaply, the aluminum trim on the outside looked like it came from the house of someone else. DO NOT USE AMERICAN REMODELING. I wish I had gone elsewhere.

HORRIBLE COMPANY, AVOID AT ALL COST! We used them for complete siding job and windows,terrible mistake! They didn't even start the job until over a month after our projected start date, then only showed up here and there and always left early. They then complained that they were working in the cold which was their fault! We constantly have siding falling and blowing off, our windows were never sealed and they take forever to finally respond back to a problem. We are now over a year of them being at our house and the problems still aren't fixed! They are extremely unprofessional, I have cigarette butts, nails, siding pieces laying all over the place and wiring hanging off my house for weeks on end. I have children so that's not okay. All you ever get is excuses so if you want a terrible job done for your money, hire this company, if you want it done right go with a different company as we should have!! If I could have given them no stars at all or negative stars that's what I would have done!

I purchased 6 composite windows to replace my 1957 models. I love these windows, cool to touch on the inside with all this heat and sound restricting. Workmanship was top guality and cleanup. I can t wait to order the 6 more that I need. The service people were very pleasant to work with too.

They kept me informed as to when they would come,did what they said they would.Very good follow up visits. Very refreshing to find a contractor who said what they mean and mean what they say. If any other work done I would call again.
