Computer Repair
The laptop was backed up. I dropped off the computer for repair. This was not an urgent repair since I had a backup laptop. I had shopped on the internet. A replacement refurbished laptop of the same model would cost $160. About 10 days later I received a call that the computer had been repaired, but the battery was on order. I decided to leave the computer with them and pick it up after the battery came in. About one week later the computer was ready to be picked up. I had priced a replacement battery on the internet and I found the price to be about $50. I was pleasantly surprised that the total bill for the repair was about $79. The technician explained to me what he found and how he repaired it.
