Description of Work: Painted and repaired plaster on the walls and ceilings of 2 large rooms in a Victorian house.

Description of Work: Bedroom: spackle walls and ceiling, caulked 4 windows, painted ceiling and walls with 2 coats, fixed piece of chair rail.

Description of Work: Painted two story entry way, family room, kitchen, upstairs hallway and all upstairs doors and trim. We had her back a few weeks later to paint the front door and alcove

Description of Work: Two jobs: - paintig front entry door and its surrounding (outside job during September 2014) - painting of dinning room over old plastic wallpapers (inside job during October 2014)

Description of Work: We had our bathroom painted and as always were very pleased with Kathy's work. Her attention to the prep work really shows in the final product. The work she did in our bathroom (there was old water damage and peeling paint) makes it look like a brand new room. Everything is perfectly smooth now. At this point, she and her crew have almost painted our entire house, inside and out. We have only a few rooms left and I will definitely be calling her when the time comes to do those too.

Description of Work: Kathy was great! She painted our living room, kitchen, stairway and two hallways, all doors and trim. She redid outdated oak wainscoting in my kitchen, which was a job with several steps and did an excellent job. She is an expert in her field without a doubt. I will be calling her again with a week or two to schedule 2 bedrooms and a bath.

Description of Work: They painted the kitchen and dining room.

Description of Work: We had Kathy paint 2 bedrooms, a hallway, a family room, living room and dining room. The work included several challenges and surprises in each room, all of which were handled to our absolute satisfaction so I'll describe each room separately. In one of the bedrooms she removed wallpaper only to find the walls underneath were plastered with thousands of Sports Illustrated Covers glued to the wall. There were cracks, holes and patches on every wall in this room and every wall/surface was a different color. The walls are now absolulely flawless and it has totally transformed the look of the room. A second bedroom had a fireplace with painted-over tile plus built in bookcases with drawers so a lot of detail work and some plaster repair on the ceiling. This room in our 1909 house now looks brand new. The stairwell was covered in a dark red paint and had a very awkward ceiling line with water damage and bubbled canvas covering. The dark red paint is totally undetectable under the much lighter shade we chose. We also ended up pulling ceramic tile off the risers of the stairs in the middle of the job and asked Kathy to paint those too, she added that to the project for a reasonable cost and had no problem with the extra-last minute work. The canvas covering on the ceiling was creased where the stairs curved and Kathy was able to make it perfectly smooth and flawless. Our family room was pretty straightforward but also had high ceilings and badly damaged drywall on the risers of the stairs. They were patched, smoothed and now look brand new. Our living room and dining room had textured plaster walls and we asked for some decorative moulding above two fireplaces to be removed. Kathy was able to recreate the texture of the plaster and you would never know there had been repairs done there. Three big holes in the ceiling from electrical work we had done required patching and you would not ever be able to tell where the holes were now. She also repaired water damage on the ceiling and cracks in the textured plaster. The room looks absolutely beautiful from top to bottom. I'm amazed at how well she was able to recreate the texture fo the plaster.
