She came to give me a quote within 2 days of my call. I have an old Victorian home that needs a lot of TLC. She fixed the cracks in the bedroom ceiling and painted it. She spackled to smooth out the walls and painted them with 2 coats. She caulked 4 windows and painted the intricate trim, chair rail, floor boards and doors. And she removed a piece of chair rail that was requested and cut a piece to repair it elsewhere in the room. All within 3 days. The quality of her work is phenomenal. I couldn't be happier.

Kathleen was out for an estimate quickly and started the job quickly.  She finished all the work in 5 days!!!  All nicks, nail holes, etc were filled in, walls were sanded, primed and painted.  The whole area worked on looks wonderful!!!  I would hire her back without hesitation and plan to whenever we need painting done.

Front: Kathy split the job into two days to allow the oil base coat dry thoroughly. She sanded carefully the pained areas before applying the base coat and did minor repairs afterwards, i.e., before applying the top coat
Dining room: Kathy first removed loose parts of the plastic wallpaper. Then she coated the walls first with oil based coat. Then she followed with spackling each seam between adjacent wallpapers. Left to dry for 24 hours. After sending the dry mud, she applied top coat twice. As a result, hte seems are not visible to naked eye.
In conclusion, it was very pleasant experience. Kathy is a good communicator, quite flexible in arranging the date for the job (patiently waiting for nice sunny day for the outside job, or working around my schedule limitations). She is very experienced painter and it was shown in excellent quality of her job. Highly recommended.

Kathy responded to my initial contact immediately and was able to come and give us a quote within a few days. The quote was fair based on others we had seen so we were able to start the project immediately after the holidays. Kathy explained in detail the process, the reasoning for pricing the job the way she did, what the timeline would be, what we could expect in terms of a finished product and delivered on everything she said. They were on time every day, accomplished more that I anticipated each day, and left the job site clean with minimal disruption to our living space. Every day I would receive an update on the progress, a clear explanation of any challenges and suggested solutions, nothing was assumed and so there were no misunderstandings or unpleasant surprises which is quite unusual with a job of this scope. Originally we planned to do this in 3 phases over a 6 month period but we were so thrilled with the final product on each phase that we just kept going and ended up doing almost the whole house over 2 weeks.
I cannot recommend Kathy highly enough. She is a very meticulous, thoughtful, and knowledgable professional who clearly takes great pride in doing her job well. Her follow up is excellent, she will talk you through everything she is doing and its obvious she cares about doing things the right way and it shows in the final product. We are absolutely thrilled with the work she has done in our house, it has exceeded our expectations and we will be having her paint the exterior of our house next. I would particularly recommend her if you have an older home that needs special care - I am amazed at how good the repairs look.
