carpet installation
 + -1 moreThe owner of Superior Interiors had done nothing, insisting the manufacturer has to make it right and the manufacturer of the carpet, Kraus, said no, that Superior Interiors had to make it right. So, we are left with a fray carpet that we paid in cash, $900. NOTHING was done.
Description of Work: We had commercial carpet installed in our entry way which was suggested to us that would be very good for our house. Within two weeks the carpet started to fray. We told the owner, Dan, and he came out and looked at it. He agreed it should not be fraying. BUT, he would do nothing about it. He insists that the carpet manufacturer has to make it right. Kraus carpeting. We contacted them and they said it was up to Superior Interiors to make it right. He still has not done anything for us to this date. June 22, 2017. Also, his installers broke two doors and tore molding off another door, which Dan saw and would not pay for the repairs.

Description of Work: Refinished hard wood floors (600 sq ft) Could not remove spots on wood and finished over the stains to make a horrible floor appearance. I called another professional and they redid the floors and got the stains out completely with a beautiful finish.(additional $1k). The other part of the business is fine to deal with: Carpet, tile, etc. That part of the business is run by the brother which I have dealt with over 30 years. |

 + -1 moreThey were prompt and when there were some blemishes they did come out and fix them. I was happy with their work. I didn’t check any competitor prices so I am not sure about the price. We do plan to use them again.

 + -1 moreWhen we moved into the house 46 years ago we covered our floors with wall-to-wall carpeting, as was the style at the time. After 40 years, of course, stains seeped down through the carpeting to the oak floor beneath. We decided to pull up the carpeting and wanted to restore those Oak floors. We saw his work and asked him to do ours, and I am very happy that we did. There was never a speck of dust throughout the house from the sanding, and he varnished the floors beautifully as well. They look incredible, and for all of the work that he did, his prices were very reasonable. We were very happy with them.
