Joe was very professional, returned my calls promptly, and arrived on time when giving an estimate and performing the work. In addition to gutters, I wanted my soffits and facia capped. Although R & J gutters did not do that, they recommended someone who I was very satisfied with, and coordinated with them so that the installation of the gutters was performed the day after the capping was completed. The installation of the gutters took less than a day. Everything went very smoothly, they left no mess behind, and I am very satisfied with the new gutters.

We got rained out on installation day but Joe was back a couple days later and completed the entire job in about 4 hours.

First, a disclaimer: I talked to the representative (who may be the owner) on the phone, but my wife had all the face-to-face dealings with him. The company was recommended to my wife at lunch on a Wednesday. My wife called that afternoon and Joe showed up the next day and gave an estimate. I called with a few questions, which Joe answered. Because we were having difficulty visualizing the gutter guard, he stopped by the next day and manufactured a sample on-the-spot. He called a day ahead to confirm the appointment and actually showed up a half hour earlier than he had predicted. My wife called when the job was finished to say she was very happy with the result and that it was nice to find ''old-fashioned workers who still take pride in their work.'' I'll close by saying we had an estimate from one other company. R&J was lower by about 20%. They appear to be a very small company, but they do nice work. On the other hand, they don't give a written warranty (there is a verbal one).
