"The system you are referring to is only around 5 years old so it is very hard to understand how the wiring had been fine for 15 years and you admittedly had only been in the home a year. And, if the heat pump did not work, please explain how you had air conditioning all summer? The only wiring we ever touched was to repair a faulty high voltage ground wire. When our techs arrived that day, the cabinet door was off the furnace and there were tools laying around. First call, faulty ground wire. Second call, burst pipes. Third call, boiler was overheated from not being run properly or maintained properly. The first three calls all in January of 2017. Fourth call, 5 months later, AC not working. Fifth call, end of December 2017, furnace would not stay running. So, how were we to know what you had touched and moved? No one in our office hung up on you. You were on a cell phone and cell phones lose service. You should get your facts straight before you slander anyone, those are very serious accusations to put in writing. Truth be told, you were very rude, demanding we work for free and insisting that we were lying. No paper work was changed. Each and every time we came to your home was for a different problem, which we fixed and it is all documented."
"We are very sorry to hear this experience described this way. For clarity the customer reported that lightening had hit the house and it had blown the well pump so we went out and replaced the well pump. Yes, perhaps more should have been done to test the electric rather than accepting the pump was blown. There were other appliances that did not work after the lightening strike while others did still work so the customers statement that the lightening blew the pump seemed logical. The customer was given over a thousand dollar credit to compensate for the inconvenience of not realizing that the problem was at the electric pole. So the customer ultimately only paid $500 which did not even cover our costs. This happened in August of 2013 and in October of that same year the customer called us back out to service his oil boiler. While rare, we are human and mistakes happen. We always do our best to correct them promptly and treat the customer fairly. We had a long history of service with this customer and it is a shame that one bad experience that involved very usual circumstances resulted in this kind of negativity."
