He came and diagnosed our appliance, told us it would be a week and gave us a price. We paid for diagnosis. He came back after a week and said he diagnosed it wrong. He said he had to wait another week for the correct part to come in. He wouldn't give a straight answer about new price. After that week he just never showed and he stopped communicating. We ended up buying a new fridge. I do NOT recommend this service. I have 3 kids, one that I am breastfeeding and he screwed us out of a fridge for weeks. Very stressful situation for a new mother.

He came that same day.  He took everything a part and showed me the parts that he was going to put in and they were brand new parts.  He did an excellent job.  He was really kind and he fixed the problem.  He showed me the items and explained what was wrong.

This is the second time in 1 year that I have used Paul's appliance service, and I will do so again if need be. Both times were to repair two different refrigerators. Both times the initial evaluation revealed a faulty part, that he then had to order and come back to replace/install the part. Overall, the evaluation and repair was accurate and have rectified the issue - both refrigerators continue to work well after the repair. There was no upcharges or recommendation for work or parts that weren't necessary. Very honest service, which is hard to find sometimes. Only shortcoming is that when you place the initial call you almost always get an answering machine, and it can be a while until you get a call back...and in both cases couldn't get to me for a day or two then a few days to order parts, then return for the install....so was and gt;1 week after my initial call both times. So if you are in a rush for the repair I would discuss with them on the initial call so you are prepared. In my case though, I thought it was excellent service and worth a bit of a wait.

Paul was helpful and completed the work quickly. Overall, I think that he did a nice job and would contact him again if we needed help. I was a little surprised that he didn't bring supplies with him for application and cleaning; he asked to use some towels that I had out.

the repairman was expertly knowledgeable regarding the issue I was having. the terms of the service contract (issued by Lowe's) imposed a constraint on timeliness of repair for which I cannot penalize the repair service. Paul's is top-notch.
