Tom came in and worked on our basement finishing drywall that we had installed. Work involved mudding screw holes, taping and mudding seams and putting metal edging on the corners and mudding. Tom did a FABULOUS job. He kept the work area clean and did the job without causing much if any dust at all due to his sponging method. Truly a craftsman and a wonderful professional. Tom was prompt, kept to his timeline and showed up when he said he would. It is very hard to find good professionals sometimes, Tom is one of the few. We had called several other people who were recommended and they didn't even return our phone calls. Tom called back, met with us to discuss the job, sent us an estimate and started the job on time. Truly happy with the work and service he provided! Highly recommend!

"Thanks for the good review [Member name removed], but I only charged you $750.00. I thought you should know for your records. I hope all went well for you and I hope you're enjoying your retirement."

The job went very well. Tom did a very professional job. When I called him, he came out for an estimate the same day. He scheduled the work the following week. We were very pleased with the job and his costs are reasonable.

Tom showed up the day of the disaster and gave us an estimate to include removing the damaged drywall, replacing with new drywall, taping, plaster (quickset?), and then coming back the next day to smooth it all out after it had a day to dry. He came out a few days later to begin the work and while here we asked if he could repair a few cracks in our few plaster walls (some are older and plaster, some are drywall). Even though this seemed to add about 2 hours to his original ceiling repair work, he only raised the price $100 ($700 to $800). He finished up most of the originally contracted repair from our leak then moved onto the additional new plaster repairs. One of the plaster wall cracks we asked him to repair was a bigger job than we had thought. He said he could just plaster over the crack but showed us how the wall was flexing and the crack would most likely show back up in a few months. That said, he removed a 4 foot by 2 foot section of plaster and repaired the whole section rather than just a quick fix to make his buck and run. All this, while not raising the price beyond the $800.
