When our ceiling fan ceased functioning, we did not know what went wrong. I called Mark Mohr and described the symptoms of failure right before it ceased working altogether. Mark suggested we call the manufacturers to see if we can get replacement parts. We did and got the parts shipped to us.  Mark and a helper came and put in the replacement parts and got the fan to work again.  So we got the fan and we love to work for a lot less than the cost of a new fan.
We also replaced a ceiling light at the same time.
Mark also volunteered and fixed our dryer vent when it became disconnected while he was working at our house.  It was simple because he knew what he was doing.  It would have taken my husband lots of effort if he were to do it himself.
Mark is my go-to electrician.

He is excellent, absolutely outstanding. He takes care of all of my electrical work, and does a fantastic job. He is not the cheapest but he is very reasonable. He has owned the business for years and is very knowledgeable. He is very timely in returning phone calls, and making appointments.

They gave me good service. They did a good job and they were very responsive. They reinstalled the electric meter and managed it on the outside of the house as it was coming away from there. Overall it went fine. I have used them and in the last 8-10 years I used them about three times and it has always been good. They sometime do get busy. Their price was good and their quality was excellent. Their responsiveness was good and punctuality was okay. Their professionalism was okay.

We spent about $400 to $500. Mark was pretty good. He was considerate about what we wanted and going about doing it.

Mark came to replace the electrical meter board that was damaged because the ground settled and pulled the meter board off the outside stucco wall of the house. Once the board was off the wall, Mark found that the wood slats behind it were totally water damaged. Mark went and purchased a special plastic weather-proof board and cut it to fit the opening, sealed it up really well with caulk, then mounted the new meter board on it. The job is so nice I won't even have to have the stucco repaired. Mark even used an extendable pole underneath the meter board so that I won't have to worry about settling again. I had to pay more than expected because of the repairs he made to the wall but it is totally compensated for by my not needing to pay for the stucco repair. As always, even though the job took longer than expected, I never feel that Mark is rushing through to get to another waiting job. He always stays on the existing job to make sure everything is done properly.

When I ordered the awnings and screens, the company refered me to an electrician that they had worked with before. I thought since this electrician is familiar with their product, it would be less work for me explaining what needs to be done. This electrician came out, quoted me over a $1,000 and told me he had to cut a big hole in my ceiling so he can physically gain access to the overhead space. That was when I called Mark. He gave me an estimate that is under $600 and claimed that he would not be cutting any holes in my dry wall. Mark had to come out twice because the awning company messed up and did not install both the awnings and the screens on the same day. Both times Mark was able to come out the day after the awning/screen installation. Although the jobs both times were more complicated that he had estimated (mostly because of the unconventional way that my house addition was constructed), he was able to get the job done with only a 3" x 6" cut on the drywall which he patched. Even though he spent much more time than he estimated, he held to the original price quoted.
