Masterseal Sealcoating

We have used Masterseal twice. This past year, the seal didn't stay put, but Marc honored his warranty and resealed our driveway. It looks great!

I usually never review. but felt I should. I rarely see a owner/operator actually care about how they do their work. 1) it was very reasonable. ( which migth be the main reason that I decided to do this review) 2) he was prompt courteous and made sure he understood what I wanted and how I wanted it done. he even called back to verify 2 things before he started the job. 3) he was a good guy. presented well and professional. I felt comfortable allowing him to work on my home. He even took a minute to greet my pets. anyone that asks me about his type of work will get his anme nd phone # from me. Thanks Marc!

I had my driveway sealed by them on 9/11. The driveway came out not as guaranteed and is very streaky. I called the owner, Mark, and asked him to come back out and see the job that was done. He refused to do so. I told him that I was going to put a hold on the check until he came back out and he started screaming at me that he was going to sue me, that he was going to come back to my house with equipment to scrape the tar off my driveway since it is his tar. I simply asked him to come back out and see the job that was done and that I was not satisfied. In his website, they state “our warranty is satisfaction guaranteed!” They clearly do not stand by their promise.

Did a great job filling some minor cracks and sealcoating our driveway. Will use again in the future

Masterseal Sealcoat has the Best prices in Bucks County for seal coating! I used to do this Job myself every 2 years and buy the product from Home Depot until my friend that is a paving foreman told me to call masterseal. Their prices to do the entire job on your driveway are about the same as the cost of you buying just the sealer from home depot and Masterseal uses commercial grade material that looks better and lasts longer. It was a no brainer! Save your self the hassle and have these guys do the job! They were professional and courteous and my driveway looks brand new again. Thanks Masterseal!

Seal coating went great. Marc arrived on time. Driveway looks great and price was very reasonable. I will be using this company again.

The driveway was sealed in mid-October 2016. in January I saw that it was peeling. I called Masterseal right away and they said they would come back in the spring to redo it. They did it yesterday and it looks great. Time will tell, but I am confident that they will address any other issues that might arise.

Two years ago, I had my driveway redone with new asphalt. Masterseal had sealed my old driveway one time and did a fine job. Mike called to reseal it again two years later, not knowing I had new asphalt put on. He explained why I should have the new driveway sealed and even suggested I check out recommendations on the Internet.
After a couple of changes in appointment (my doing), Mike and a co-worker sealed my driveway. Because it was asphalt that had not been sealed, it absorbed a bit more sealer than usual. The price was good; preparation and application very well done. Mike was easy to work with, gave me good information, and was flexible in rescheduling my appointment.
Certainly will use Masterseal again.

No problems at all. I have used this provider multiple times. The one time where there was an issue (a number of years ago), Masterseal's owner came out to the house and re-did the job at no additional cost to me. Note that the price is not necessarily the lowest quote, but cheap does not necessarily equal good. I used a different well-known company before connecting with Masterseal and had major quality problems with that job. Masterseal actually was hired by me the first time to re-do the poor work performed by a lower-priced competitor.

Called and left a message. Within a day they called back to schedule a time for a free estimate. They arrived, were professional and provided a written estimate. I accepted that day, and they commenced and completed the work the following day. They did a good job and I'm happy with the results.

I made an appointment for Mark Magill to come to see the driveway and give me an estimate at a time when I was home. He did not come out or call. He came when I was not home and left his brochure with the cost of doing the work. I called to give him the job and when he came out to do the work I went over with him exactly what I wanted done. When I looked out the window there was a hand pusher (squeegee) leaning against my fence so I assumed the job was being done by hand the way it should have been done. When the job was done Mark came to the front door and I paid him. He said not to use the driveway for 2 days. I did not look at the driveway until the next day and saw that the edges and cracks were not sealed. The large crack across the driveway looked like someone poured too much sealer and it looked like a mess. It was not even with the driveway and in some areas it dropped into the crack. The sealer to do the entire driveway had been sprayed on top of the driveway instead of using a squeegee. Mark did not tell me that he would be using the spray or I would have asked for the squeegee which would have filled the cracks. When I called Mark and told him I was unhappy he said he had done a good job and it was up to me to have told him how I wanted the job done. He should have known that the spray would not do the job properly. He said he would come out and look at the job but he did not come when he said he would. I called several times after that and again he said he would come out but never showed up. My wife is so upset she called on Thursday, 7/7/11 and left a message asking him to please come out and look at the driveway but again there has been no response. I did not use the driveway for one week (Friday), not just the two days. When I used my lawn mower on Friday, it left tire tracks and my footprint where the crack had been filled. I now have several tire tracks from putting my car into the garage in addition to the original cracks. My driveway now looks worse than it did before the work was done. The owner of our lawn care service came out to weed the lawn two weeks after the driveway had been coated and when he walked up our driveway his boot got caught in the large crack across the driveway. It was still sticky. We had another contractor come out and he told us that the end of the driveway and the perimeter should have been sealed and was not. It is not just my opinion, it is a professional stating that and I will not bother again.
