Jon and his crew started on a Monday and just as he said, showed up at 8 am. After day one, the work done exceeded my expectations! Because this original job was so overwhelmingly bad, I couldn't even go upstair without screaming. Jon's work was so impeccable that I couldn't wait to go up to see the progress each day. He showed up daily for 6 days (came by on Saturday to do the last finishing touches). I've had some good workers in my fixer upper, but their clean-up always left a little bit more to clean up after they left (and I'm not a clean freak). Jon's clean up was impeccable! It's hard enough to clean up after sanding joint compound and there wasn't even a coating anywhere.
You will not go wrong if you hire Jon. As much as I was trying to save money, I truly expected to pay through the nose to fix the bad job. Jon's price was reasonable for the amount of work that needed to be done.
