Fantastic! It's a family company. One of the owners managed the project. The quality & attention to detail was terrific. They stayed late to finish the job. They were honest & professional. They are understandably busy so they might not return your call right away but they are worth the wait.

They were very good, very accommodating. They gave us a good price because we had talk to him first and someone else decided to redo theirs in the area. They were excellent and we have been so happy with what he had done. Their employees were just great I thought.

Went very well. Experienced company with excellent reputation. The Spangler brothers are supervisors and also part of the crew. Having one or more owners on site each day is much appreciated. Everything was professionally done and well-explained, and they clean up after themselves very well, too. We are very glad we chose them.

Spangler Bros' bid was actually 5% or $500 higher than the other bid, who was a highly rated paver on Angie's List. I actually anticipated doing the job with the "other bidder" because of their high rating on Angie's List. Larry Spangler, one of three brothers that own this 40+ year old business spent an hour detailing for me everything they do and why their price would be a bit more. Things like using a 1.5 inch "base" substrate on the first layer and then a 1.5 inch "ID2 top" for the second layer; rather than two layers of top coat or worse, one 3" layer top coat. They constantly checked with a depth indicator tool, that I was getting the full 1.5 inches on each layer. Their finishing work was excellent as well with even shoulders, smooth curves and a perfect blending of the edge into the concrete portion of my driveway. They also advised me to NOT seal the driveway...ever!!! Unless I wanted to for cosmetic reasons. I spoke with two other customers of Spangler's, neither had been provided to me by SB, and these customers spoke equally as positive about them as I am now. One of the three Spangler brothers were always working on the job, each of the three days the job took to complete. It makes a HUGE difference in the quality of work when the owner is personally working the job and it's his name/reputation on the line, rather than an anonymous "foreman".
