Scott designed the placement off the landscape lighting. He also give us advice on plantings, stone and mulch. He and his crew worked very hard to ensure all the elements we had discussed were put into place. He has a meticulous step by step process and really worked with us to ensure we were all on the same page. We have known Scott Gumto a long time and always appreciate his good nature and professionalism.

We had extensive landscaping work done to our 100 year old property. Scott Gumto was the key to everything that needed performed. He has exceptional skills and in-depth knowledge in every aspect of property management. Our first issue was 50 large pine trees that had fallen down. In analyzing what was needed, Scott helped us determine the best contrator to clean up the trees.
Scott's true talents then came into play as he helped us picture and develop a new look for our property. We had pine trees entirely around the property. With those now gone he helped us look at the property and make many changes. There was a drainage ditch that needed to be taken care of and a spring house that needed to have the drainage corrected. We had to level and contour the land and landscape the improved property. Our driveway was also extended and wrapped around to a second exit.. Scott was personally involved in every step of the project. Even the areas where other contractors had to be brought in, he took the personal initiative to make sure their portions were done properly and that the project kept moving. When one phase was completed, Scott had the additional teams in place to keep the project flowing. He took time to regularly communicate what was needed to all parties.
We ended up removing over 100 pine trees, burying a drainage ditch, correcting the drainage from the spring house, landscaping our entire two acre property and extending our driveway. We couldn't be more pleased with everything that was done. It is the little things that will give you complete confidence in Scott Gumto. When he walks along the property examining a project, he will stop and pick up loose paper or debris and throw them away. Shortly after the drainage work was completed, we had a torrential down pour. Scott came over many times throughout the storm to make sure everything was working properly. When the grass was planted there was a period of no rain. He came by with a water truck to nourish areas we couldn't reach with our hose. We have had an additional need this winter with a few more trees falling. Scott again did an excellent job determining what was needed to make the area look better than it had previously. I extensively researched companies to do the work that was needed to our property. In the future, I will just call Scott Gumto (724-586-8733). His workmanship and quality are excellent. We couldn't be more pleased.
One situation that stands out happened on a later date, which was sometime in June. They were doing some clean up work for me, and the grass that comes up on the front wall of my house is very difficult to reach with the lawnmower. He actually took it upon himself to trim the grass without even notifying or charging us.

We normally do every single thing by ourselves but this year we needed some help. We were very busy this summer and we needed some help getting things fixed in the yard. They were here for 2 weeks and installed some outdoor lighting. It was decorative as well as functional. They cleaned up brush and they cleaned up leaves and old mulch. They filled weeds and cut down some plants which is an annual thing to do. They moved bricks and they cut some branches off. They did some reseeding of the lawn and they cleaned a fence line which is about half a mile. They come highly recommended. There are a few more things that they are going to do. They can transform your yard into something surprisingly nice. They are very nice people. They do what they say they are going to do and they are self directed so you don’t have to be hovering to make sure it was done properly. They don't do a half way job, they do an excellent job. They have a good sense of what is required to be done. They clean up their mess and they come when they say they are coming. They work until the job is done. They are very easy to deal with and they are very pleasant. I would give them a really high rating and I would suggest promoting them. There is nothing that you can fault them on.
