The service personnel were on time and professional. I have a background in engineering so I can tell by their tools and procedures they knew what they were doing. Very happy with their service. I am on an “on call” for refills so I called them to refill and they delivered the propane at the quoted price. I also checked the current price to get a idea how much I would be charged after the one year price lock and the quoted the current price of $2.12 per gal. I called in January for a refill and they promptly delivered the propane. I highly recommend this company for Propane tanks and delivery.

As a first time propane gas customer, I had lots of questions, and every one took the time to make me feel like a valued customer. Everyone was also very polite and professional, including office staff and technicians.

The prevailing rate for propane in my area is (as of right now) $2.09 a gallon. I called several suppliers tpo confirm this fact. The Dept. of Energy rates averaged $2.04 per gallon for this period. Modern Gas, who we have a contract with, filled up my 100 gallon tank, charging me the astronomical rate of $3.21 per gallon. I called up to complain, and spoke to Debbie, who after listing a litany of lame excuses for this price, finally agreed to lower the rate to $2.55 a gallon when I accused them of price gouging. However, this "lower" rate, which is STILL a RIP OFF- is JUST for this delivery, while they reserve the right to charge us whatever they feel like it on our next delivery. We have a contract with this company, and it is their gas tank. It is not like we can just call another supplier and have them fill Modern's tank. We will have to switch providers, and I'm sure they will squeeze every dime out of us they can when we do. This company STINKS! They are ripping people off who have to rely on propane for heat. This is a disgrace, and there ought to be a law to protect consumers from tactics like this.
