It was 3 and one-half days from the time I initiated my request until Rooter7 even made contact with me to set-up an appointment, normally the warranty company requires that the contractor perform necessary services within 48 hours. When Rooter7 did contact me it was a Friday morning and arrangements were made for Rooter7 to come out and address the problem on Tuesday of the following week at 8:00 am. Tuesday morning 8:00 came and went with no Rooter7, he did call between 10:30 and 11:00 am to say they were running late and they finally arrived just before noon. I have a fair amount of knowledge and experience related to hydrology and hydraulics and I had used this knowledge to attempt to locate and fix the clog due to the extraordinary amount of time it took for Rooter7 to respond. Rooter7 seemed to ignore the information I provided regarding the location of the clog and spent a lot of time trying to clean the drain line to the upstairs bathroom as well as the one to my kitchen sink. The water from the upstairs bathroom was backing up into the kitchen sink which was indicative that the clog was past the juncture of these two lines. The kitchen drain line was old copper pipe in fair to poor condition, but it was working and not leaking. During his apparently unnecessary attempt to and quot;unclogand quot; this drainline it was broken and in definite poor condition, once another contractor cleared the clog and I was able to use the kitchen sink this line leaked tremendously and had to be replaced at my expense. I also had furniture stored in my basement which was up off the floor due to water which had been in the basement from the clog, this furniture was in one piece that morning and broken while the Contractor was there. He had no rational explanation for how the furniture was broken and was extremely evasive when I tried to get more information. He also went through storage bins in my basement containing my personal belongings. It did not appear that anything was missing out of the bins but they were open and there was dirt and water in them that hadn't been there before, they were checked carefully with clean dry hands after the drain overflowed. When they finally got to the approximate location of the clog I was told I had and quot;Big Problemsand quot; and he didn't know what he could do, again he was evasive, to the point of being belligerent, when I tried to garner additional information from him. What kind of problems? What did think he or someone else may need to fix it? If he thought he could fix, could he do it today? If not today when? I left the basement at that point and came upstairs to call the warranty company to report the current situation and my displeasure with the contractor, his apparent inability to perform the work, his poor work ethic, his lack of respect for me and my property. I was on hold with them when he came upstairs a few short minutes later and reported that he had fixed the problem. I asked him if he had tested it, all the while knowing that he hadn't, to which he replied and quot;yup, I'm outta here. Bye.and quot;, and walked out of my house slamming the door behind him. I was also left with a nasty, stinky wet basement which had been completely cleaned up from the initial overflow.

I needed the gas line to the dryer capped off as a request of the buyer's who were purchasing our home. I called Rooter 7 and they came out and completed the job the very next day. This is my second time using Rooter 7 and I will definitely use them for any future plumbing issues I may have in my new home.

Everything went great. They checked the water heater and discovered where the leak was coming from and what caused the leak and recommended the correct service to fix it. A+ overall.

WONDERFUL!
I was very concerned that there was a problem bigger than just a clogged drain.
They cleared the clog and checked everything else to put my fears to rest.

Our basement flooded one night and we called our Home Warranty Company, whom put out an emergency call to area plumbers. Rooter 7 Plumbing responded within the hour, and set up an appointment to come the next morning to help us figure out the cause of the flooding. Later that night my husband and I realized our washing machine hose had come loose and fallen on the floor, and was more than likely the cause of the flooding! We kept the appointment just to be sure it wasn't our water heater or drain backup. When both Bruce and his technician arrived, I explained that I had most likely found the cause of the flooding from our washing machine hose coming loose, but they still took their time to examine any other possible cause of flooding. They even repaired a small leak they found on our water shut off value, which had nothing to do with the flooding. They were so nice and even apologized that there wasn't more for them to do to help! Our silly mistake did have one pay off - we now know that there is a good plumbing company out there for us to use next time we have a and quot;realand quot; plumbing issue!

I contacted Rooter 7 in July about replacing my sewer pipe which had tree roots growing through it and was not operable. Bruce met with me the next day for an estimate, he was friendly and professional. The work was delayed due to issues with my local municipality processing the permit. Bruce went above and beyond to meet the city's requirements while keeping me informed about the progress. Once the work was allowed to start, he kept to the timeline he had originally proposed for the work. I am very pleased with the work that Rooter 7 completed and will absolutely contact them for future needs. Bruce made a seemingly overwhelming repair go smoothly and as quickly as my municipality would allow it.
