This has been a very trying process from start to finish with everything in this house. We had hoped that finding a good contractor would make our multitudes of projects much easier and more professional. It was relatively easy to set up our first appointment. The owner, who was giving the estimate, showed up about 20 minutes late without calling. He was very unenthusiastic and seemed to give the overall impression that we were too small a project for his company. We agreed that my husband and I would continue our demolition progress and recontact the company when we were further along, basically ready for the new construction to start. I reconnected with them on the 21st of December and we scheduled another visit for the 23rd. On the 23rd, he showed up over a half hour late (stating that a company Christmas party was to fault; I was forgiving, being 2 days before Christmas). He was slightly more enthusiastic this time, taking pictures and measurements and promising a quote in a week, by Wednesday the 30th. Once again, realizing its the holidays, I was more than forgiving when the estimate did not arrive. But upon calling and emailing and receiving no response and still no quote, now two weeks after the visit, I am more than happy to refuse to give him our business. I can safely say this interaction went from O.K. to terrible very quickly.
Description of Work: We had one visit with the owner back in November, shortly after settling on our first house. We have relatively major insulating and remodeling to do in our very large living room and two bedrooms, not to mention future business throughout the house. After looking at our "de-construction" progress at that point, he said to call back when we're further along. We rescheduled for December and he returned to perform an actual estimate.
