I've used them a few times. They were here when they said they would be.

The service tech arrived right on schedule. They had sent me an email that he was on the way but I didn't have my email open yet so I didn't see it until later. He was very polite and went over everything he would be looking at. He took his time to do a thorough inspection and showed me everything that needed fixing. I had a few leaking connections that needed to be replaced. He wrote up an estimate that sounded good to me so I had the work done on the spot. He also discussed some other work that they offer but did not pressure me to buy.

It was under warranty through them. I would rate them a B only because of their prices. We never had a problem with the quality of their work. They are pretty good. I use them rarely anymore.

They have a real person answer the phone and schedule the appointment. They are always professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. If they don't know a price immediately, they will research and get back to me. They always tell me in advance how much something will cost and there are never any changes in the cost.

We purchased a new,standard replacement dishwasher and contacted this company for an estimate on having it installed. We were told that an estimate could not be given over the phone, but a represenative who was qualified to do the work would come out to our home, give us an estimate, and if we agreed, would be prepared to do the work on the spot.

The plumber arrived as scheduled and provided us with an estimate of $562 to hook up our replacement dishwasher in the exact same location as the one that we removed. The amount that he quoted us came directly out of a three ring binder he had with him and was a pre-determined,book price.We declined the service due to the high cost( more than the cost of the dishwasher) on a simple straightforward job. The plumber instead hooked up one valve on the end of an exisiting water supply line, which needed to be done so that we could install the dishwasher. The cost for this service was $207.00. We proceeded to install the dishwasher on our own, without the assistance of a plumber.

Since this company is using flat rate pricing, I see no reason why a plumber needed to come to our home to quote us. A range for diswasher installs could have been provided over the phone. The plumber was pleasant and prompt.

We found the Plumbing Works through the Yellow Pages. My husband called around for services and estimates. We had a great rapport with this company. Would definitely use them again in the future.
