Summit Hill Electrical Service

I contacted Summit Hill Electrical Service two years ago after I was dissatisfied with a different electric service company. Since that time, Summit Hill has provided a host of quality services including: fixing the mistakes of the previous vendor; installing light fixtures; repairing old light fixtures; adding receptacles and computer connections; and, most recently (10/14/22) servicing an outdoor generator and installing recessed lighting. Each service was performed professionally and at a competitive price! Great service, reasonable fees, quality work - I highly recommend Summit Hill Electrical service!!

Came out to my house within a couple of hours after I called. Took him less than an hour to diagnose and fix the problem.

Joe came out the same day we called him, promptly fixed the problem, including going back out to retrieve a necessary part, and got everything fixed perfectly. He explained everything that needed to be fixed to my wife, instead of waving his hands and saying that he was "working on it", and dropped off an extremely reasonable bill the next day. I could not be more pleased with the whole experience. I will be using him again, repeatedly, I suspect.

Joe, was an amazing help.  The walk through of the job, answering questions, the estimate, were all outstanding.  The day of the job, I stopped by the house, and Joe was hard at work, doing an outstanding job.  Joe, answered a few questions about the work.  Joe cleaned up after the job, and ask if there were any questions or concerns.  Outstanding work, by a true professional.  We have already discussed the next project.  I would highly recommend Joe for your electrical needs.  Thanks Tony

Needed new recessed lights etc and estimates were twice as much as summit hill. one was lower but said he has to add bigger holes in the ceiling and we were responsible for patching them. Summit hill changed 4 light fixtures, and installed 10 new 4 inch recessed lights plus a whole house surge protector. Work was very good. the ceiling looks great and I did not have to patch anything. Found him on Angies list and would use him again. Thank you Angie.

Joe installed electrical panel for generator. He is very pleasant and helpful. He's helped me before with other jobs and I have been very satisfied with his work.

Because of the size of the job, I was patient in selecting an electrician and I asked for quotes from approx. 6 different candidates. I was especially comfortable with knowledge / experience of two of the electricians and I chose Joe because he had a more reasonable price and he seemed more willing to be very flexible in accommodating normal issues / necessity for minor changes that inevitably arise in a larger job. I was not disappointed at all in my selecting Joe to do the work. He showed up on schedule, and worked very efficiently and professionally in completing the job. And, he was very easy to communicate with during the course of the job and I found that valuable in coordinating his work and helping fine tune us with various options available to us (locating electrical items, suitable fixtures, etc.). Even after rough electrical work was completed and a live wire was inadvertently broken by my drywall contractor, Joe was able to help us out with the need for a quick repair within just a couple hours. Any/all electrical work that I have to do in the future or anyone that I know that needs electrical work, Joe is the first one that I will call / recommend.

Mrfixit, Joe, had done work for us in the past so we already knew his reputation. We have used him on a revolving plan to upgrade our home by adding new ceiling fans, lights and outlets both inside and out and changing out the old outlets into the new outlets. He is always accommodating when scheduling for work that we want done. On Memorial Day, we noticed that one of the circuits had dropped and we couldn't keep it on. We called Joe and he arranged to come that afternoon and found the short that was causing the problem; a short that was left from one of the previous owners. Recommend Joe? Absolutely!

Same day service, I called him this morning and he responded quickly. He was nice and very professional. I would highly recommend this company.

Excellent work. Very professional and knowledgeable. Knew exactly what needed to be done and handled it well.

The electrician came and gave an estimate, was selected on a Friday and then was able to obtain permits and start work on the following Monday. He knew exactly what was needed and did not try to sell us on work that was not needed. By the end of Monday he had all the service installed and was ready to install the other services. He talked about the GFI switch installation in the bathroom and sugested a GFI breaker instead of just an outlet. Since the breakers were not available any more, he rewired the GFI outlet so that the whole bathroom circuit is protected.

The job in remodeling our kitchen went flawlessly with Summit Hill and they were on time and did an excellent job.

He is excellent and very good. He also did work for my brother too. He is punctual, professional, very reasonably priced. You tell him what the problem is and he comes out with solutions. He gave me options as to what I wanted and his idea was very good. He suggested the heater because it doesn't play without the knobs himself. He just thought of everything and was very nice. He is coming back to install the generator for the house.
