We had an unanticipated need to have a piano moved from one side of town to another. Arrangements and the physical move had to happen in six days or less. I left a message for RH Movers on a Saturday afternoon. They did return my call early (8 AM) on Tuesday morning. However, I had already managed to make arrangements with another mover.

Bob was incredible. Watching someone work with such skill and experience was truly a treat. He was incredibly accomodating on short notice. He handled the piano with patience and experience. He was incredibly professional and polite. Would use again in a heartbeat.

I called multple movers from Angies List, most of whom were not available to perform these services in the time period I needed. The few movers that were available were quoting a minimum of $450 (3 men, 4 hours and 1 truck) for this move. If there were any difficult existing conditions (steep stairs, tight turns), that would be additional.
Bob was available within 2 days of my initial call to him. On the day of the move, he was punctual, responsible and personable. He and his colleague, Paul, took good care of my piano, the 2 appliances and the areas through which they have to move the pieces. The appliances had to come up a steep staircase with a tight turn at the top of the stairs. They handled it very well, and very quickly.
Bob Seilar has been moving pianos for 15 years. He'll also move special pieces/antiques. But he won't do full-house moves. I will gladly use RHS again and recommend him to anyone who needs a piano (or special piece) moved.

He was extremely careful to wrap the piano and move it in such a careful, thoughtful way.
I was so impressed that I asked about his experience. He told me that he had worked in moving for years for some of the largest piano retailers and movers in the area including Jacob's Music, Wilmington Piano and Cunningham Piano.
