Car Washes
First off, this car wash and lube center is no longer and quot;C*******and quot;; it is called Mr. Hotshine, as the business was sold approximately Fall 2013. We loved C*******, as they did a thorough job. The new owner / system seems to be cutting a few corners in regard to the preliminary wash procedure, and attitude towards the customer.
Today, we had a less than good experience. Upon arrival, we were met by the car wash attendant for instruction and pay. I'd twice mentioned the basic outside car wash, as this was our work truck. Car wash attendant continued to ramble on trying to sell high priced and quot;bells and whistlesand quot; wash programs. Needed to cut the fellow off, again, and as a result, got a somewhat wiseguy rebuttal. Hey, sorry but I did mention exactly what car wash we wanted on two occassions. Didn't need to continue the marketing campaign to sell us something we clearly did not want. So, we got a dose of attitude from the attendant. Really, if you're upset about your job, don't blame us!
Finally paid and queued into line. This is where the disappointment with the Mr. Hotshine wash procedure begins, and ends. The former car wash owner, C*******, always had a fellow with a pressure washer located at the entry into the automatic car wash system. This fellow would effectively pressure wash the bugs, bird crap, etc. fromthe vehicle prior to entry into the wash system. Therefore, assuring that your vehicle is completely cleansed to customer satisfaction after exiting the car wash. This is not the case with Mr. Hotshine. There is a fellow still located at the entry, yet the and quot;pressure washand quot; is extremely low pressure, and he really does seem disinterested in actually spraying your car. Today, the fellow simply squirted a small portion of water on the rear of our vehicle, ignoring the fact that the majority of bugs are plastered on the FRONT of the car.
As expected, upon exiting the car wash, a bird crap was still on the car hood. Sad, that the simple act of getting your car washed at Mr. Hotshine today turned into a rather bad experience: snippy attitude from an attendant, and having to go over my vehicle to remove bugs and crap, post-wash.
I will be going to Mr. Hotshine car wash again, only because they are the only one in the area. But, we do wish that Mr. Hotshine would turn their service up a notch or two to meet the outstanding service we had always received from the previous owner, C*******.
