Jim Reazor (cabinetry by RCW) designed the cabinets in my kitchen. His work is beautiful and well crafted. He listened to my description of how I work in the kitchen and designed the cabinets to maximize my space. I have a tricky corner and Jim was able to design and build a full pantry and storage area in what was once wasted space. He also built a charging station into a drawer to hide those pesky electronics. Jim is very personable and an excellent craftsman. His measurements were 100% spot on. I highly recommend his work.

Main LIne Custom Kitchens has been an RCW dealer for over 30 years. I have personally worked with Jim for 14 years. I find not only the quality of the cabinets, but the service they provide to be exceptional. Working with Jim Reazor has taught me so much about the cabinet business. Not only does he make beautiful cabinets, but he works with you as a designer to fine tune all the details and make sure everything fits perfectly. You won't get that from a big box cabinet manufacturer! Knowing that I have someone as knowledgeable and talented as Jim working with me makes my job much easier. When it came time to remodel my own kitchen, the only cabinets I would use were RCW. They are beautiful and unique and created exactly to my specifications. I could not be happier.

I called Mr. Reazor and provided information on what we needed and why. From the start, he was friendly, interested and understanding. From start to finish, I couldn't have been happier with the process and end result. The cabinet was the perfect size, and match.

Remodeling kitchens is my bread and butter. I met Jim Reazer about 4 yrs ago and we hit it off. Jim reminds me of myself in a lot of ways. He is attuned to details and likes to do things the best way he can figure out. The first time I saw RCW's cabinets I was impressed with the build quality. All sides of the cabinets are 3/4" . Many other cabinet manufacturers use 1/2". Even the backs of the cabinets are made of 3/4" plywood. You can park a truck on these! On top of all that the hardware is the finest available. Easy to adjust slow close hinges and drawer glides. Extra strength hardware means that these cabinets function as well as they look. RCW is one of the few cabinet manufacturers that builds everything in house. Most cabinet guys order their cabinet boxes and doors, assemble them, and only finish them in house. Jim has always built his own cabinet boxes, but when he became unsatisfied with the quality or timelines of the prefabricated doors, he started to make his own. He said this is so he can control every aspect of the quality of his cabinets. For these reasons, when it came time to remodel my own kitchen I couldn't even imagine using anyone else for my cabinets. I thought I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted to do with my small space. I do this for a living after all....But then Jim came in, and after a few minutes knew what was the best layout for the space that would be comfortable and efficient to work in.He had extensive conversations with my wife to determine how the kitchen's design would best suit her. Everything from how tall she is, if she is right or left handed, and what her cooking habits are. On top of all that, hew was able to give us a seated island when I knew in my heart that there was no way we'd be able to get one in there. We got our cabinets in cherry, coated in a deep rich glaze custom made for us. The moldings are over the top with a two piece crown molding, light rail moldings to dress up the bottom of the cabinetry, and a two piece base molding with their signature shoe molding. Great thought and care was given to the organizers he put in our cabinetry as well. There is a dedicated knife block drawer big enough to hold every sharp knife we own. This keep them off the counter top. He even found a great organizer that actually makes our blind corner cabinet very useful when those usually turn into a real mess. Now our kitchen is very organized, functional, and beautiful. We couldn't be happier with the RCW team and I don't hesitate to recommend them to everyone!!

RCW invited us to visit their plant, where they fabricate the cabinets. Then they came to our home to look at the space and understand our needs. They payed special attention to the appliances we wanted to order, the cookware we had, and all of our cooking and serving dishes. They designed our new kitchen accordingly and submitted their plans for our review. We went over some modifications, which were very minor. They fabricated the cabinets and had them delivered and installed by their preferred delivery and installation companies. They also gave us recommendations for the company who delivered the granite backsplash and countertops. We are very happy with our new kitchen. Not only is it beautiful, it is also very functional. The services provided by RCW really surpassed our expectations. We will definitely use them again for our next remodeling project (bathroom) and we would recommend them to anyone with a remodeling project.

In December 2015 we met with Mr. Reazor from RCW Cabinetry to discuss plans to renovate our kitchen. He presented us with a design plan and worked with us to make revisions to meet our goal of creating a functional workspace. No more crawling into.cabinets for pots and pans and no more lifting stacks of heavy dishes. There is a place for everything now. The custom made cabinetry is so beautiful and well made that it's a joy to look at and makes life easier for us.
He worked with the vendors we chose for countertops and appliances and also the contractor who did the cabinet installation, electrical, tiling, and plumbing work. His interactions with them made the 3-4 week tear down and installation timeline run smoothly with no surprises or delays.

The installation went flawlessly, everything fit exactly. The installer worked on our kitchen every day except the day the painters were here.
We were without a kitchen for three weeks from start to finish.
The cabinets are all precisely made with self closing doors and drawers and no visible hinges.
The molding and trim made the presentation perfect, friends are in aww when they see the new kitchen.
The design that RCW discussed in detail with us is perfect for our use.
Our only regret was waiting so long to have it done.

After assessing big box home stores and several manufacturers of "custom" cabinets I selected RCW as the provider of our cabinets. Jim Reazor (personally) took room, door, window, ceiling and floor measurements to the fraction of an inch, to produce an accurate layout of available space. From that he produced a beautiful design factoring in a combination of our requirements with his knowledge in kitchen functionality. The result is a high-functioning, efficient kitchen predicated on top-quality cabinets. RCW utilized 3/4" birch plywood as basic cabinet structure finished with tabacco-stained 3/4" solid cherry exterior finish for the island, and dove white satin painted high density fiber board for the main cabinets. Hinges and drawer rolling hardware is sourced from an Austrian manufacturer of high quality metals. RCW craftsmanship is unparalleled. You can view the final product on my Houzz site at this URL: ( http://www.houzz.com/projects/1550504/kitchen-renovation )

My name is Josh. I'm a kitchen and bathroom remodeling contractor.
Remodeling Kitchens is my bread and butter. I met Jim Reazer about 4 years ago and we hit it off. Jim reminds me of myself. Attuned to details and likes to do things the best way he can figure out.
The first time I saw RCW's cabinets I was impressed with the build quality. All sides of these cabinets are 3/4". Backs of the cabinets are 3/4". On top of that the hardware is the finest available. Easy to adjust hinges and glides. Extra strength hardware means that these cabinets function as well as they look.
Jim is one of the few cabinet manufacturers that builds everything in house. A lot of companies order in their cabinet boxes and doors, assemble them in their shop and finish them in house. Jim always built his own cabinet boxes, but when he became unsatisfied with the quality of ordered doors, or the time in which he was able to receive them, he started to make his own. This way he is able to control every aspect of the quality of his cabinets.
For these reasons, when it was time to remodel my own kitchen I couldn't even imagine using anyone else for my cabinets.
I thought I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted to do with the space. I do this for a living after all.....But then Jim came in, and after a few minutes knew what was the best layout for the space that would be comfortable and efficient to work it. On top of all that, he was able to give us a seated island when I knew in my heart that there was no way we'd be able to get one in there.
We got our cabinets in cherry, coated in a deep rich glaze which Jim custom made specifically for us. The moldings are over the top with a two piece crown molding, light rail to really finish out the bottom of the wall cabinets, and a two piece base molding with a signature shoe molding.
Great thought and care was given to the organizers he put into the cabinetry as well. There is a drawer dedicated to nothing but knife blocks to keep the knives off the counter tops. He even found a great organizer for the blind corner cabinet that actually makes this cabinet that usually turns into a mess, very efficient and useful.
Jim worked closely with the appliance dealer to ensure that all of our appliances just slid into place with minimal effort.
My wife is extremely happy with her new kitchen. I am happy because I feel that I got a great value for the money I spent on my cabinets. And I know that these cabinets actually increased the value of my home.

As a designer, I am very particular about quality in both my home and my clients' homes. My latest design with Jim was for my own home. I shared my vision of a coffee bar and display cabinet with Jim and came up with a fabulous addition to my kitchen. Jim's attention to detail and quality workmanship is evident in every square inch of this large, unique cabinet. A year ago, I re-designed my master bath and Jim made the most beautiful cabinets that are timeless. Once again, every square inch of the cabinetry is fine furniture quality. I am extremely pleased with the projects that we have worked on; but most importantly, love what is in my home, made by RCW Cabinetry.

Design started with a visit to the showroom and factory in S 4th St in Reading. Then The owners, Jim and Toni visited our house to discuss our needs and take measurements. Then we got the preliminary designs, and had several more meetings to fine tune. They coordinated with the other vendors (counters, appliances, flooring, etc) to make sure everything went smoothly, which it did. They even stopped in during and after the installation to make sure we were happy. They really take pride in their product, and it shows.

Jim and Toni Reazor, at RCW, were absolutely marvelous! First we were impressed by their display at the Reading, PA Home and Garden show (we went to several different regional shows and ?auditioned? a number of cabinet makers). We admired their work at the show but decided it would be far beyond our limited budget. We were about to depart when Chris, the plant manager, walked over and asked if there was something we didn?t like about their work. We responded that it was indeed a handsome display but we felt it was far beyond our price range. He asked us if we could afford a Lowe?s or Home Depot Kitchen and we replied we could. He then told us RCW could beat their prices and far surpass their quality ? he had caught our interest. Thus began a wonderful experience. The Reazors are truly kitchen and cabinetry professionals! They consulted on the kitchen layout providing great ideas and insights, custom designed each piece based upon its purpose, built all of the cabinetry with top materials with great precision, and have helped to guide this project every step of the way to its impressive conclusion. This was all done at a price that was extremely reasonable AND an added bonus is they're really nice people!
We purchased a home with a dreary 1990's kitchen. It obviously needed some ?upgrading? but watching HGTV makes this sound like a scary proposition. I was thinking there must be a way to do this without going bankrupt! ?So we visited, as stated above, a number of shows and met with different designers. Unfortunately, while everyone was very nice they tended to generate similar ?blah? designs often with some pretty startling prices. Fortunately, Chris, as mentioned above, got our attention and invited us to visit their factory where we could see further samples of their work and discuss our project in greater depth. We, with some hesitation (we were getting tired of ?blah?), went ? I?m extremely glad we did!
First, their ideas and suggestions left ?BLAH? far behind. (Maybe why the CEO of DuPont has one of their kitchens.) Besides being beautifully made their kitchens are a definite marriage of form and function. They freely shared their knowledge and insights in the layout and design phase. Now re-read the last sentence, because it?s REALLY important. Here?s why ? they kept us from making a number of ?beginner mistakes? that none of the others caught. They greatly helped us refine our thoughts to create efficient, well lit work areas as well as comfortable space for ?friends? who often gravitate toward the kitchen. The design evolved and went through a number of changes until we were all satisfied. Interestingly, sometimes they initiated the changes/improvements even though it meant they would have to completely change all of the plans ? like I said ?they?re professionals!
We chose a lightly stained cherry for the cabinetry and an off-white island with built-in cherry wine and stemware racks ? all custom made. RCW has a reputation for precision and execution. There is no particle board, or ?phony wood? anywhere in the construction. (They don?t compromise; they make their product to last and they stand behind it.) We were very pleasantly surprised by the care and concern they put into our project. They must have come over to the house at least five or six times to check measurements, assess wall variations (wouldn?t it be nice if all rooms were really plumb and square?), check lighting/outlet positions, etc. Jim?s motto ?Measure twice ? cut once.?
RCW does not install the cabinets, but they advised us on who would do an excellent job at a fair price (Eric Weyandt of Crosskeys Custom Millwork ? another excellent person to deal with). The cabinets were ready on schedule, carefully delivered and Eric installed them. They are indeed awesome!
Final thoughts: The way Jim, Toni. Chris and the folks at RCW treated us you might think we were their only customer. (Actually, RCW has several distributors on the east coast and they have a busy three story factory that produces everything with state of the art equipment.) They were very responsive, seemed to know as much (or more) about our project as us and met every commitment they made ? in fact they went far beyond by including several thoughtful ?extras.?
Follow-up: About six months after the installation of the cabinets my wife noticed a few tiny areas where the detail work on the painted portion of the island was starting to chip off. We called RCW and spoke to Jim about it. He immediately arranged to meet us at our earliest convenience. His response: After examining the problem areas, he removed all of the island?s doors and drawer fronts (even though only a few were affected). I thought he was going to repair them but he insisted upon a different solution. Instead of ?redoing? the few affected areas he decided to construct new doors and drawer-fronts to replace them all. (These folks truly stand behind their product!)
If you?re looking for insightful design, excellent work, a ?rock-solid? guarantee and very competitive prices then look no farther. We have no qualms whatsoever in recommending RCW of Reading, PA. We really like these people and you will too!
