Above & Beyond Housekeeping

It was a nightmare to get the cleaning people to even arrive. One excuse after another. They didn't get our call or having trouble with the internet, you name the excuse and she had already used it. Finally, after 3 cleanings we had enough. Once we got someone to show up the cleaning service they provided was ok. Nothing out of the ordinary. They were just unreliable. We never knew if or when they were coming or who they were sending until we made a phone call or text. Our contract was for every Monday after 11:00

I will not be using this company again. I did not mind paying them to 250.00 but they did not clean correctly. They sent men that were over 6.5 ft tall and I was happy my husband was home at the time of the service. My friend was going to use them but after I told her what happened she is going to go with another company.

The woman who comes to my house does a wonderful job cleaning. She makes the appliances look brand new. The house is organized and clean. It's wonderful.

I meet with my housekeeper and go over areas of special need. She is busy the time she is with me. The results are beautiful. She likes me to inspect the work if I am home. I feel comfortable with her in my home.

Our home has never been so clean as after the initial Spring Cleaning (and our standards were already very high to start with). Our dedicated cleaner does an extremely good job every other week, which has been customized and tailored to our specific needs and requirements. We are very happy with this service, with our only regret that we hadn't started with Ellen and her very capable staff earlier. We are completely satisfied and excited about this company's service!

We have used Above and Beyond since moving into our new home about 8 years ago. Ellen is very responsive to ones' needs, preferences, and concerns. She truly works to find the absolute best match for your family when it comes to your "Cleaning Specialist." We have had our "JoAnn"for the past 7 years and wouldn't trade her! We do have a large home, so JoAnn is assisted by 1-2 other ladies for portions of the day. JoAnn directs the other ladies, and checks everything over to be sure it meets her standards. She is wonderful, While we are away at work, our top priority is the safety of our beloved pets. We know that JoAnn will see to their needs, and always has a treat ready. The dog and one of the cats just love her and are always happy to see her. The other cat likes very few people outside the family and has gotten to the point of allowing JoAnn to pet her- a major accomplishment which took about a years' work on JoAnn's part! I am so grateful to Ellen for pairing us with JoAnn!

I recommend this housekeeping service to anybody who asks. I started using their services after I hurt my arm at work and found that lifting very heavy stuff as well as the ability to and quot;scruband quot; surfaces really aggravated things further. My arm is better now, but I still use them and have been a customer since 2010. The owner/manager Ellen is very professional and is able to keep in contact with her customers via her email and cell phone 24/7.
There are varying degrees of services they can provide. I think they can clean anything except windows. You can customize what they clean and what they can do--if you want them to make your bed, fold your laundry, or do your dishes they will do so. Some extra services may cost more, but I believe the cost is not significant. Speaking of which the prices are competitive and reasonable. I tip $10 for every cleaning because they should earn the Congressional Medal of Freedom for even entering my house. Cleanings can be done once, weekly, bi-monthly, monthly, etc. They seem to be very flexible and will let you know when they are coming to do their work. I'm typically not around when they do so, there is no way I say they are and quot;punctualand quot; versus not. I DO know that when the cleaning folks get here they call Ellen immediately so she monitors their activity closely. Every once in a while Ellen may even join in on the fun so her employees know not to mess around.
When I first spoke to Ellen she told me how her company is insured and she carefully selects her employees. She does use criminal background checks and drug testing--this is great for those of you who are paranoid about who is entering your house regularly. All I can say is I trust Ellen. She has a key to my house! Nothing has ever been stolen and only once was something broken and the lady who was working that day apologized profusely afterwards (it was no big deal!). My cleaning services in particular have went through a number of different folks, but she does try to match one person to each client so they know your house well. They use their own cleaning stuff and vacuum/s so once again you paranoid folks can relax!
In terms of quality all I can say is if there was dust or a mess, it is gone afterwards. Doesn't matter how bad or how big the mess, it's gone. If you have mild clutter they will try to organize it for you (if you want them to). With me, it's a lost cause to try to do so because my house is quite cluttered. They kind of go around my clutter or move it gently to clean under it and then set it back meticulously.

The owner, Ellen, is friendly, professional, and very prompt with communication. After my initial phone call, Ellen visited our home within the week, and within 2 weeks, we had our first house cleaning.
Our housekeeper is friendly and very hard working. It is so awesome to come home to a super clean home!
This makes a huge difference. In the times between cleaning, I have a lot less work to do, which frees us up to do other things.
Prices are reasonable for the great quality of service. Above and Beyond has been a lifesaver for us!

My experience was excellent. They had seven girls cleaning here all day yesterday.

I have a barter arrangement worked out with them. I actually did their website for them and that is how the barter worked out. Their price, if I were to spend any money, would be extremely reasonable for the job that they do. I personally have referred 10 people to them because they do such a good job and they are using them now. I know that they are affordable and do a great job.
