Everything was extremely professional. The initial meeting was great and the estimate was more detailed than any other estimate that we received. Although they were not the lowest bid, we were more confident in their work style and ability than we were with any other contractor we met with. Work began quickly and was completed (for the most part) in about five weeks. The last piece, a replacement railing needed for new county codes, was placed about eight weeks after the work started. During that time, there were two small errors that were corrected immediately. We would recommend them to anyone and would hire them for almost any job.

Working with Jay and his team was a great experience. I found them in my local township paper and they were the first contractor to make their appointment and show up right on time. They did outstanding work and had no problem working with changes in design dealing with an old home. They did everything promised and more. They were very neat and cleaned up every day. They did a new kitchen, removed walls, replaced windows, removed a window, installed new storm doors and patio doors. Amazing tile work and carpentry transformed an my old small kitchen and dining room into a larger beautiful gathering space for everyone. How many people can say they loved having contractors in their home? We can.....the night before the kitchen was to be painted the rusted bolts on the toilet upstairs broke and blue tank water leaked into the new kitchen dripping in my new lights.....Jay had someone there first thing in the morning and replaced the old toilet and fixed the ceiling lights. Every call was returned right away. No matter what the question or issue they were polite and helpful. I would recommend them for anything for your home. They do truly beautiful work.

They did good work. My mother-in-law is happy. They came everyday and cleaned everyday. Ever problem I had, they quickly addressed it. The attachment looks like the original house.

My experience was like you would expect from somebody that has a large business. They were very professional. State of the art kind of tools that they use as far as measuring how my basement and doing a CAD design and layout of the proposed finishing. Everything was handled electronically over the computer, e-mails with files attached, very thorough detailed quote. You could tell they were mechanized to do that sort of thing so I think on that end they were very responsive and very professional. Based on my experience they are pretty high end to me, so I might use someone of less quality depending on the project.

Called to set up appointment, they arrived on time. They took information for quote, promised a date to have it back to me, received it around estimated time. Accepted quote after considering other offers, they offered a time frame they would start work that was delayed for reasons outside their control. The job was done incredibly well overall. Very by the numbers, detailed what I'd be paying for, answered all questions, never tried to up the price, friendly. Ordering a burger at Wendy's is more painful than this process was.

The job went smooth as silk and turned out terrific. We have used Hellings in the past for work on our house, so we went back with them without thinking twice. Hellings people are very nice and very good. The designs they come up with to build in your space are great and work out quite well. Prompt, clean and courteous employees and leave the site each day having cleaned up all material used in the days work. Work done on time and in budget. High quality and would use them again and again as the need for stuff comes up.

Hellings Builders completed work in a timely manner. Ross was always prompt with calling me back. I had this work done because of a flood in the house caused by the tube that led to ice maker was cracked in many places. I have recommended him to many people.

The estimate they quoted at the beginning was very comparable to other contractors we spoke with and they were able to stick to the appraisal price. They always left the job site very neat and I always felt comfortable and safe with them in my home. They did use subcontractors for the plumbing and electrical work, but everything went very very well.

They did a very nice job. They are fair and reliable. Along with that they are trustworthy.

THE CONSTRUCTION CREW, UNDER A PROJECT MANAGER, RAN VERY SMOOTHLY. CLEAN-UP WAS DONE DAILY. THE WORK WAS COMPLETED ON TIME AND THE CREW WAS COURTEOUS. THE WORK WAS OF EXCELLENT QUALITY.
