water plants were haphazardly placed out of water; broken from placement. Fish were in a small aquarium with a running pump and were knocked around. several had died-water was hot from sitting in the sun. Bushes that were trimmed were thrown in surrounding landscape. Owner was in a hurry to drop his kid off so the job went from 7:30-2 @ 100/hr. I paid 1000$ and was told I would get some back if done early (he gave me a bigger pump too). I attempted to stop check payment after he left and it had been cashed immediately. He didn't return my call. The pond liner was in one spot, poking out and had no dirt next to it (would have ripped under pressure). Stones were quickly and haphazardly placed and needed redoing (altho he told me he didn't do waterfalls). There was minimal clean-up. I also paid him earlier for the liner and carpet for under it and had bought flagstone prior. The owner had a bad back and had his 19 year old son and another guy working for him. I feel I should have received some $ back as the project finished early and "reinstallation" never happened. Plants not replaced, pond not filled up etc. Plus it was a crappy job with disregard for the existing property
Description of Work: New liner on top of the old pond liner with enlargement of the pond and "reinstallation"
