Overall, I would not recommend Bob as your insurance agent.  We are constantly getting notices from him about expanding our coverage and other requests to up our premiums.  In the past month we had property damage from Hurricane Sandy and I was involved in a minor vehicle accident.  On both occasions, I attempted to call Bob to report a claim but only got the answering machine. I sent an e-mail (with pictures of the Hurricane damage) and never received a response from Bob. Finally, I used my iPhone application to submit both claims electronically.  State Farm had an insurance adjuster out to our property the following week and expects to have an write-up by the end of this week. I still have heard nothing from Bob.  We had a similar experience when I was involved in a head-on collision (not my fault) 3 years ago. For the high cost of insurance, you would think the individual receiving a commission would show some interest in his clientele. Not Bob.  We are in the process of switching agents now.
