I found Quality Tile through a local newspaper ad. Glenn made an appointment and visited my home to look over the work that we wanted done and discuss how he handles these jobs. He faxed a quote within a couple of days and when we made our decision, we had a follow up meeting to pay a 50% deposit. The work was scheduled to begin about two weeks from the time of the deposit. The work went well, with demolition taking about 1 day and the installation taking about 3-4 days. The only real problem that came up during the installation was that Glenn did not arrive every day to work on the project. The 3-4 days of work was spread over about 10 days. Our home has only one full bathroom and during the initial meeting I stressed that I wanted the bathroom operational as quickly as possible. Glenn was working on other projects during mine, and in retrospect I wish he'd pushed my project back to get it done more quickly. The work was done well with only a couple of tiles not exactly straight, but hardly noticeable except to a very close inspection.
Description of Work: We have a small 1950's style bathroom with many original features. We did a total update of the bathroom. The bathroom has a tile floor, tile shower, and tile going about 4 feet up the remaining walls. All of the tile was removed and replaced, the cast iron tub was removed and replaced, and a sliding glass shower door was removed and replaced with a shower curtain. New shower hardware was also used when the new tile was installed. The toilet and sink were just moved for the tile installation, but were both relatively new. The cost above is for the labor and some minor materials. The tile, bath fixtures, tub, etc. were all supplied by us.
