 + -1 moreThey allowed me to do my own 'general' contracting; they did all exterior demo, roofing, siding, installed new windows and doors, general carpentry, drywall, finish carpentry work but I directly contracted the plumbing, electric, painting and HVAC. Regardless, they supported me all the way with recommendations, contacts, suggestions and warnings. While I don't think they were the cheapest alternative, but it was a major project, they allowed me to use them as a resource to keep my costs down where I could. In the end, they were a great value, it was done on time (3 mo start to finish) and I couldn't be happier with the results.
Description of Work: I contracted them to do a major renovation to my house, involving structural reinforcement from basement to ridge line, removing & replacing 50% of the 3rd floor roof, adding 400 sq ft of living space to existing 400 sq ft 3rd floor, gutting and renovating the entire 3rd floor to include (2) bedrooms, full bath, laundry, mechanical room, new plumbing, new electric, (5) new h-e windows and (1) exterior door, and (4) skylights.
