The came to my home to give me a bid of repairing one external window sill. They opened the sill and started to remove the from for the storm window to see the extent of the needed repair. They concluded that the repair was more extensive than they had expected. I was told that they would recalculate their bid and telephone me in two days with a revised bid. I never heard from them again. I was left with the mess that they had left behind. To make matters worse, they charged my credit card for the amount of the original bid. These are amateurs, moonlighting for extra bucks!

I had let a second story window leak go to the point it started to damage the kitchen ceiling. I called H&G and Lance came to my house the following day to provide an estimate. The original estimate was to repair the existing window but then after starting to work the window and framing had rotted the wood. Lance informed me of the findings and together we discussed the plan and new estimate. Unfortunately it was snowing when this happened which caused this to need immediate attention. Lance did an outstanding job working around the elements and completed the job in 3 days. I am happy with the finished product and would recommend H&G to anyone.

Lance came the same day to repair some windows. I was a bit nervous because we have full window shutters and was hesitant to have them removed in order for the work to be done. Lance not only told me he has done this before...but put me at ease. He performed a stellar job and I highly recommend him to anyone who needs window or door repair work.
