The serviceman found a broken wire to be the reason for my garage door not adjusting properly using just the screws on the outside. He spliced it together for me, as I was emphatic that I did NOT want a new opener. He made it work, although it cost me an additional $80 above what I'd paid for the simple tune-up on Angie's List. I'm sure he saved me money in the long run and I would definitely use them again.

Poor coordination between the owner, installer and customer. Owner said he give a discount and did not follow through with offers. Installers were unaware of owners discount statements.

Garage door springs broke jumped on line emailed him to give me a bump the next day for a quote. He emailed me back the same night telling me that he would be over in the morning to take care of the springs. Well he performed the work flawlessly and did take him long to fix! Also he is the only company the has life time warranty on springs

My garage door opener motors (25 years old) broke down on Saturday morning. I called Rob Bennett, who responded promptly to my message. He listened to my description of the problem, and gave me the time that he would be at my house. He was prompt, arriving less than two hours later with all the supplies we had discussed. He was very courteous & professional. He explained all aspects of the work, and provided me with an estimate. He completed the job within a few hours, and provided me with contact information. His pricing included the motors & photo-safety cells, installation, and clean-up of all related trash & debris. I was extremely pleased with Rob Bennett of Global Discount Door & Service Corp. of Quakertown.

We had called three service providers in the area. Two said they would come out to provide an estimate - both were NO SHOWS - no calls to let us know. Rob provided an accurate estimate over the phone. He installed two new torsion springs. We discussed how loud the door was and for a minor amount of money he fixed us up with new 100K nylon rollers, a tune up, lubricated tracks, roller, bearings and springs. Now I will be able to sleep through the family coming and going at all hours. Rob was polite and professional. We will use him again for a yearly tune up next summer.

They were very professional. They gave me very accurate times of when they would show up and showed up on time. The two installers were polite, professional, did a great job installing the door and instructing us on how to use it.

Rob came at the exact time he said he would. My garage door wouldn't go down, so Rob diagnosed the problem and also installed new 100K cycle rollers and gave me a new remote control. I would definately recommend him to everyone that I know.

It was frustrating because the company was not good about contacting me or returning calls. They were very late for the job. The people were pleasant and I think they did a good job, however, there were additional parts I wanted them to order and install. He did a temporary fix (duct tape) on my electronic eyes and said they would return to replace them. They never called me. I called and left messages asking about it, but received no return call. I've given up on them.

The experience was excellent. Rob waited for me to get home and was very nice and professional.

Mr Bennett was very professional and knew exactly what to do to fix my problem. He also replaced two blown out light bulbs, that I provided, and helped me with my remote controls. He also will call me each year to see if I need or want another service. I would hire him again without any hesitation.

I called them @ approximately 10:45 a.m. on 5-21-15. The brothers were at our house approximately 12:45 p.m. They had everything with them to do the job and also the tune up. They were completing the job when a wire broke. They fixed that to with no extra charge! We were very pleased with there service and results.

Excellent! Professional! Timely! We discovered our garage door opener would not fully open early last Friday morning! So I signed on to Angie's list and searched for a service provider and Global was at the top of my search list and their site showed excellent reviews, so I decided to give them a call. On the first call to Global, I was able to talk to Rob who was the garage door opener expert and the person who came to our house to repair the garage door opener. He was very kind, professional and helpful when I called. He told me he would be out on Friday evening! He kept me informed on his approximate arrival time. Yep! He arrived Friday evening as promised and was very professional and went right to work to figure out the problem. He identified that he needed to replace our torsion spring, however, he did not have the size he needed in his truck. But, he was able to create a temporary solution until he could have a spring made for our door. It didn't take him long to complete the work and within an hour we had a operational garage door opener again. He promised that he would return next week to replace the torsion spring that he would have made. Less than a week later, he returned to our home and replaced the spring! Great work and painless for us! Thanks Rob!

Rob was prompt in returning my call and setting up a date and time to do the work. Lubricated tracks, spring, rollers, hinges and bearings; adjusted the opener open and close limits; adjusted the opener light socket to get light working again. Showed and explained what was done, and asked if I had any questions. I would strongly endorse Rob and Global Discount Door to my friends and family!

Rob came out at the time that he scheduled with us. He diagnosed the problem we were having with the door opener, not closing the door. He determined that the problem was a bad circuit board. He gave us the price to repair it and a separate price to install a new opener. We decided to go with the new one as the entire unit would be under warranty not just the circuit board. He was very professional and his truck was clean. We would definitely recommend Global Discount Door to everyone we know!

The guys from Global Discount were VERY personable, arrived on time, and were extremely professional. They did not try to gouge us or upsell us into anything, though they easily could have. They actually fixed the problem, rather than replaced as everyone else wanted to do. They also did not charge a trip fee of any kind. Trip fees (or whatever you want to call them) are ridiculous, and Global Discount agrees. I would not go to any other garage door contractor in the Grand Rapids area. These guys are great, friendly, and honest. I cannot say enough how highly I recommend them. They saved us what is to us A LOT OF MONEY. Thank you, Global Discount. Best of luck in the future.

I left message on voice mail and he called right back. He gave quote over the phone with options. He came to house next morning to inspect and make sure I understood clearly what I was getting. Very friendly but professional. Made appointment to come back the following Saturday to install. Called Wednesday and asked if he could install on Friday. Was on time and did a GREAT job. Very happy with work and now realize I should have done sooner. Cleaned up area very well.

I woke up early with my 2 year old, decided to ask a question about my garage door malfunctioning, gotten response by 0530 the same day, and had awesome service done on my garage. It is too bad that without Angie's list I would never end up calling these guys and would probably end up calling usual, big-name companies who would not do job as well as these guys.

Rob and his worker arrived promptly, installed the new door, hooked up the door opener, took away the old door and cleaned up after himself. I was impressed that he left the premises so clean. Rob is very easy to deal with and seems to be honest and dependable. I had checked garage door prices a couple of years ago, and felt the price he quoted was quite fair. The door is insulated and reinforced with steel on the panels. We're quite happy.

Went well even cleaned a greasy hand opener!

Rob came on time, was courteous and thorough. He is to come back to replace some weather stripping which was not on his truck. I have paid for it and expect he will be back sometime soon.
