We had another company out to give a quote and wanted all the cost up front before they even started. Not possible for us. Ehrlich however, you pay per visit! It is three visits of treatments. Rick came out on 2/10 and did a very detailed check. ( better than the other place I might add) by flipping mattresses, checking box springs, and the couches. He thought the CO2 traps I created were great to help collect samples and seem to keep from becoming a house wide problem. He did not rush me and took time to answer my questions and made sure I understood everything. He did not try to 'run out the door' so to speak to another job or try to sell me anything like over priced covers for the beds. He made sure I knew that even thought we are paying about $500 per visit, you are still putting out as much as you are. I mention how it is easier for us to do a 'payment plan' like this as to about $1500 in one shot. This was a HUGE selling point for me. I do not know anyone that has that much money at a emergency point like this.
After some scheduling work out, the guys came out today for treatment 1. They were completely professional, did not make me feel bad at any point, gave me pointers on what to get set up for next treatment that I missed, was curious about the traps I created, and super friendly. They did not dance around any answers and told me to ask as many questions as I wanted which I did! They went from each room treating 3 bedrooms and then our couches. He informed me that it may get a bit worse before better. They did not see any live ones ( yay!) during their inspection and treatments but that does not mean they are not there.
After all the treatments are done, I plan to *hopefully* update this entry.
UPDATE: We had treatment 2 done on 3/4. I started to get a couple bites about 9 days from the 1st treatment. I was checking over the kids beds like crazy during the two weeks between treatments. We never found any but only my room seem to have had something hidden and biting me.
After some crazy phone call tag and trying to schedule the appointment, we finally got it set up. The only con is that it is a last minute type scheduling. They sometimes do not know until just the day before. For us, that does not work only b/c we have 2 kids and being able to juggle sitters and getting the rooms set up..I need more than a few hours time.
Once again, they came and treated the three bedrooms and the livingroom. No bugs found in the bedrooms but they did find one live and that had fed recently in the couch. I told them to soak the couch down! Monday 3/17 will be our last of our 3 treatments.
UPDATE: They came for final treatment on 3/17 and not one bug was found! Not a bite since then either.
I told them I did a review here in hopes that others will have luck when looking for bedbug help. The two guys ( I want to say Joe and Joe) that did my first treatment also did my last.
I got a letter for a maintenance plan for a lower rate than first quoted which was great! Being that my husband travels for work, we decided it would be a great idea and plan to follow through on it.
I HIGHLY recommend Ehrlich! I was not pressured into anything, they answered all of my questions, took time to explain things to me, worked with me, and overall an amazing experience. I thank them so much for helping to deal with this evil issue!
