Please know not to use New Age Air for your heating and A/C needs. We have used this company since 2009 and they were a good small company then. We have watched them grow from a small company to a bigger local company and adapt the bigger company mentality of upsellling and lack of accountability. We have a less than 2 year old Carrier furnace that is having issues and New Age Air won’t work through the diagnosing issue and has walked away from it. They are horrible! They don’t stand behind their work. We would have recommended them many years ago but not now at all. And this is my first ever negative review posted.

"We absolutely stand behind our work. Not only do we stand behind our work but we also stood behind the work your nephew did for you. You then refused to pay us to repair the items he installed that caused you previous system to malfunction. Over and over we have been to your home to correct issues we did not create and did not charge you for those visits. We do not lightly stop servicing a long time client, but it has become impossible to continue to service equipment that others keep interfering with and a client that then insults our team members.."

New Age Air Big Rip offs: Tech arrived and told me he doesn’t want to be here, he hates people, his last 3 customers argued with him because of his diagnosis. The tech told me the new systems they are installing are low quality and there are more calls coming in on them, than people with older systems. Before tech arrived I installed a run/start capacitor, a connector, a hard start kit and I had the unit open for him He said system is too old, no Freon in it, and not worth fixing. I asked him to put Freon in it and he said $1500.00, he called his boss and told him I don’t want t to buy a new system because im selling the house. He told his boss I want him to put Freon in it. He told me it will be $2000.00 he closed up the unit and went to his truck. And said it is not worth it. I said do it anyway. he came back and said the compressor is shot, there is nothing he can do. He said put window air conditioners in to sell my house, or contact sales if I want a new system. I asked about a new compressor. He said he will send me an estimate. He had me sign his tablet that he showed up and he is giving me and estimate on a new compressor. He sent me 3 emails and he left. 1st email was a receipt for the $149.00 I paid for him to come out 2nd invoice was an estimate of $2000.00 to put Freon in my system (Why)? 3rd was for an invoice for $3000 to for a new compressor which will include Freon I called the office and I told them I had a complaint but I can’t have harassment from their employee. I explained to her 5 years of harassment from an individual came to an end on Sunday, so I cant go through any more drama. He assured me no drama will take place. She said she will forward my voice recording to the manager and he will cal me back. This was last Thursday. By Monday, No calls, It has been over 90 degrees in my house for over a week. My old cat couldn’t handle the heat anymore and died Monday morning. I called New Age Air, As soon as I said my name she hung up the phone. She called back and apologized. She said someone will call me Tuesday afternoon. I told her Ive been waiting for repair for 5 days. It is 92 degrees in my house and and my cat is is dead. I told her I want a call back today. I got a call back and he said he will send another tech out. I had the unit open for him when he got there. He said there was Freon in my system and it isn’t shot but the copresser is stuck. He removed the hard start kit I had installed and he said he didn’t like that kind. Im familiar with the 521 kits but the local place didn’t have one. The tech said he has one on his truck and I can have it for $400. If it don’t work. I still owe the $400. I declined because they run $31,00 online. I ordered it myself and the compressor started running. Wow. What did I call these guys for? 10 days of 90 + degrees in my house’ a dead cat and it cost me $149.00. As soon as the 2nd technician left I got a telephone call and 2 text messages from the first tech that came out last thursday, he wants to talk to me about what I said to his boss. Are you kidding me? I blocked him and I called New Age Air and the secretary told me she will forward the message. It has been over a week and I have not heard from them. Get better help. Dealing with this company is a night mare. They give bad advice, price gouge on Freon and parts, not interested in fixing older systems and if you have a problem with their methods, the techs call your personal phone to put you straight. Beware of this company. The review asks you to pick a tech. Jon and Jack were not listed so I picked one they supplied.

I hired him to change my heating from gas to electric with a ac unit and I was told he put two different units in and was not working the way it should been so I had to get a new unit and before I called his three yrs ago and gave him phone calls and was told a lot of bullish t and the I question him about if they had seen my bag of jewelry because that went missing too had to file a police report so I wouldn’t deal with him I waited 5,000 dollars for nothing I had to get someone else to do a better job what a waste of time and money

We had you a maintenance contract for 1 year but never replaced any equipment and absolutely never received $5000 for any job from you for any job. We also unequivocally deny any involvement in a theft of jewelry form your home."

The service call went well. The technician found some parts on the A/C that were looking sketchy. He showed me the parts from the machine and explained why the parts might be getting ready fail. The A/C system is about 15 years old and we want to keep it running for as long as possible. The service technician was polite and knew what he was doing. We signed up for one of their yearly plans that is basically pay as you go, so the real expense, in this case, was the parts, but the machine is running well so it was worth it.

We are planning on scheduling an appointment for our heater tune-up shortly
