The move itself went fine. There were minor nicks and scratches on some of the bigger furniture. This was nothing unexpected. HOWEVER, they were way over their initial estimate. The estimate was off so much that they ended up having to bring a second truck. Also, they billed the travel time (in both directions) as overtime. It is understandable why the overtime would be applied to the return trip if they left late (working into OT) but the arrival trip should always be at a regular rate since they had just started their day. They were unwilling to negotiate with me after the payment was made. Be cautious with your payments!
