His men worked outside the house, and the man on the 3d floor did some work by standing on the 2d floor bay roof. The man working on the 2d floor, requested that I open the widows in order for him to rest his long aluminum trim on the window sill and extending into the room. He scratched the window sills on the inside of the house, and the wind blew his shavings and dirt into the room. The man on the third floor damaged the roof he was standing on and caused the bay roof to leak. I had just refinished the bedroom below, but the roof damage made it necessary for me to not only have the roof repaired but also had to repaint the ceiling under the bay roof. The venetian blind tapes were soiled and the carpet was soiled. In spite of the fact that I wrote Mr. Perate a letter explaining the damage, I had no response from him.
