Excellently. Dave gave me advice about why my kitchen floor had been poorly installed and evaluated the basement as well. Gave me very reasonable quotes for both jobs. The basement floor had some hidden surprises, which Dave handled with no complaints. Both floors were done in the time frame predicted. Dave also gave me some recommendations for a flight of stairs between the two rooms, which I took. Each day, the work site was cleaned up completely. I got almost daily updated about how the job was going. Upon completion, the floors both looked beautiful. I can't think of anything I would change. I could not be happier. I will be recommending Dave and Creation Tile to anyone I know needing a new floor laid. Dave is a nice and honest man, who works hard and does exactly what he promises. If you're reading this, you should consider Dave.

Recently installed tile in my kitchen. Did a very good job installing it. Everything was nice and even and attention to detail. Good price and communication. Was helpful answering any questions I had.

Unbelievably well. Not only is David an excellent tile professional, he is easy to work with and has an excellent work ethic - he works hard. We had a fairly large shower tile job that was close to finished when we realized we had a serious problem - serious enough to fire the guy who was doing the work and rip out a complete 5x6 custom shower to the floor and to the studs. David started the job as if from scratch because we had no idea what the pan looked like and based on how bad the tile was I wasn't going to trust that the pan was good. We were extremely lucky we happened to catch David with just enough time between projects that he could rescue us from a tile nightmare and turn it into a beautiful shower - see pictures. I would highly recommend you talk to David of Creation Tile. Based on the work he did for us, I cannot recommend him highly enough. We are very pleased with Dave's work and will definitely hire him again for our next tile project. He answered our many questions and always got back to us quickly. He had a few unexpected curve balls thrown his way during the project and he handled it with professionalism and patience. The tile looks beautiful and we are more than satisfied.

Dave did a beautiful job on the tile floor in the basement.  He was very helpful in the selection of tile and answered every question that I had.  He explained everything he was going to do and was accurate as to how long it would take.  He was prompt, polite and efficient.  In all, he was extremely easy to deal with.  They floor looks great, i will use him again in the future.

If you want an artist with an eye for  perfection and detail to install your tile, Then Dave from" Creation Tile"is your man ! This was no small job. Our master bath floor was prepped and then  leveled to perfection. The marble hex were layed out prior to installation for inspection and sealing. Marble was installed, grouted and fantastic. Wet bed for shower was created and placed a t a perfect pitch so water would not stand on the shower floor. Marble subway tile was installed. Dave created bullnose out of the marble tile and installed with great attention to detail. The marble threshold and curbs were expertly installed and are gorgeous. Dave was very adaptable to our changing of materials for the subway tile  half way thru the project . Dave managed the schedule changes due to our changes like the pro he is. Dave cleaned up each day and communicated when he would have any schedule breaks due to us waiting for our desired materials.
We highly recommend Dave for any tile project, and will look forward to hiring him again on our future projects ... A +

Summary
I can't say enough good things about Dave.  He is a top notch contractor, everything you hope for when you hire someone to work on your house.  From the beginning Dave was very easy to talk to, polite, professional, honest, responsive and punctual.  He does everything you ask of him and really pays attention to executing the details.  Our bathroom came out looking amazing!
I would absolutely recommend him to anyone.  He gave a detailed estimate and there were absolutely no hidden costs.  He was even honest enough to discount the price when we picked up some materials that he was planning to provide; he did it without us even asking! 

Prior to Starting Job
Dave stands our from many contractors in the fact that he actually shows up on time and answers/returns your calls.  I have hired many contractors in the past and they can be very difficult to get responses from and have show up on time.  During our initial call I expressed to Dave that I put a lot of value into communication and punctuality, he reassured me that when he gives a time he shows up.  He was on time, every time, from the initial estimate to the days performing the work.  He would always let me know when he was on his way too. 
Once we hired Dave we got on the schedule.  He gave us a detailed shopping list for materials and provided the names of some places to check out for tile.  As we worked through sourcing everything I would inevitably have questions about various things from grout sealers to sub floors.  He always returned my call the same day and provided great insight.
We had an issue with getting electricians to show up which impacted our timeline.  I called Dave a few weeks in advance to notify him of the need to push the schedule back and he was extremely professional about it; he was able to switch us with another client with no drama.
During the Job
Dave showed up every day on time and ready to work.  He was always friendly.
As work progressed, he would ask questions before doing anything that would have impact and wasn't already discussed (i.e. how do you want your tile staggered on the floor and in which direction?) and make recommendations.  No matter the response I gave he never gave any push back and would do it with the greatest attention to detail.  
We went with 2"x3" marble tile for our shower which has a lot of variation in grain pattern and color.  He has an artistic eye for selecting the pieces and how they would go together.  As a bonus, in the corners where you would need a half piece, he would split the tile between the two adjoining walls, butting them together to keep the pattern!  I would have never though about that!
He was ok with us watching him work and was open to our input no matter how silly we felt asking certain things; from switching individual hexagon pieces to not using tiles with a certain element in them, he never made us feel like idiots or a nuisance.  In writing this we sound pretty high maintenance... but I hope we weren't...
I'm particular about alignment (go see the pens and paper spaced evenly on my desk)  and all of the tiles are evenly spaced even though I know they may slightly vary in size due to the milling process.
He is very clean.  Nothing was tracked through the house.  Before leaving each day he would tell us what not to walk in if we wanted to go peek at the room.  He would also tell us what time he would start the next day.  We have a dog and he was friendly with him and took care not to step on him as he would carry tile from the garage to the upstairs.
In the end he gave us exactly what we asked for and it looks so good.  I feel his price is very competitive but his craftsmanship is outstanding which makes him a great value.

Dave came out within days of my initial contact and provided me with a verbal estimate before leaving and the detailed estimate in writing within 24 hours.  Work was scheduled to begin within a week of our initial meeting (I was very lucky he was able to fit me in to accomodate my schedule).  Due to the flu, the project started 2 days late but Dave was quite the professional, he stayed late every day & worked over the weekend to finish on time.  The floor is beautiful and as soon as his next schedule break happens he will be doing a backsplash in my kitchen!

First of all, I want to begin by stating that this is the second time that Dave has done tile work in our home. Two years ago, he installed porcelain tile in our formal Dining Room which is absolutely stunning. We continue to get rave reviews and admiration from our family and friends. The floor wasn't perfectly level but Dave took great measures to ensure that it was level before laying the tiles. Needless to say, we didn't consider contacting anyone but Dave for the tile work in our hallway bathroom. It is a rather large bathroom that we decided to tile with subway tiles on the walls, matching floor tiles with glass accent tiles on the walls and on the floor. The bathtub/shower stall was tiled to the ceiling. Dave kept my husband appraised every step of the way and also offered his own recommendations based on 25 years of experience. He is skilled and meticulous in everything he does. He went out of his way to call my husband and tell him that the corner pieces that we had purchased didn't really match and gave us the opportunity to get something else. He was absolutely correct and I can't thank him enough for going out of his way. He showed up when he said that he would and worked nonstop while he was in our home. He takes great pride in his speciality and is very nice to work with. If you are looking for a hard worker who charges very resonably for the quality of workmanship that he delivers, don't call anyone but Dave.

David replaced carpet in our foyer with ceramic tile. There were multiple layers of carpet / tile that he had to demo before installing new tile. He replaced existing ceramic tile in two bathrooms with new tile. Every thing looks great and every visitor who sees the change has compliments. Bonus is that he agreed to install a new toilet in my place of the old one he had removed for free. I would recommend david to anyone looking to get tile work done

He did a great job and was very efficient. Actually, we had left and gone on vacation while he finished the work. So he did this job while we were gone and finished it up. I wish that there was a little more communication between us and him. A few things that had he had a question I wished he would have asked first before going ahead and doing it. Overall, the job was great. But, there were a few minor details like the color of the grout and things of that nature we wished it would have been darker. We asked for the grooves to be tighter together, but they weren't as tight together. And I wish he would have said something before we came home and saw it like that. I wished he would have said, "Hey, they can't be that tight" or whatever. I believe he was always on time. He was never unprofessional.

Dave came to appointment for estimate on time.  We agreed on price.  There were some complications to the job, the tiles already purchased were of slightly different sizes.  He would need to set each porcelain 18 inch tile by hand.  I also wanted the tile set on a diagonal.  He started the job on time and finished one day early.  He was flexible with my schedule, since the floor had to be completed in stages so I could have access to the rest of the house.  The floor looks great and I have had several compliments on his excellent work.  I would recommend him to anyone.

Everything went well, and we were happy with the service.  The gentleman arrived on time, did good work, and cleaned up after himself.

Dave was pleasant and professional when he came to do the bid. I felt he did a high quality job and his price was fair. I had gotten an estimate from another contractor who could do both the tile and the plumbing, which would have been easier for me, but I felt going with Dave, who specializes in just tile, was the way to go all other things being equal. He did his best to get my small job in between other work. The bathroom transformation was remarkable, largely because it was SO bad before, with a cheap plastic tub surround and outdated old linoleum floor. 

We just couldn't be happier with the work that David did, and his professionalism.  He showed up on time each day and when he left, he did a great job in cleaning up.  He goes about his work as though he is doing the work in his home.
We purchased almost all of the material ourselves.  David told us what materials we needed, how much to buy, and suggestions of where to buy them.  It couldn't have been much easier.  Our kitchen looks great.  Just exactly what we were hoping for.
We had gotten an estimate for the same job from a tile store, and their price was over 3 times as much as what we ended up spending.  WOW!!
We would recommend David to anyone.  What a great find for us.  If we have any future tile work to be done, you can be sure we will be calling David again.

Dave/ Creation tile did an excellent job renovating my Master Bathroom first and then more recently my Hall Bathroom. Dave was very prompt in his response, very punctual, very professional, very pleasant to work with, offered great design advice and the quality of his work was excellent. His charges were very reasonable and did a great job cleaning  up after every work day. i strongly recommend his services.

High quality, professional work, for a great price.  I highly recommend using Creation Tile (Dave) for tile projects.  We provided the tile and sealer for the project.  Dave provided the other necessary items to adhere the tile to the drywall.  Dave even ran out to Home Depot to get longer screws so our outlet covers would fit better.  That definitely was an extra that wasn't necessary.  I was very happy with the quality of the work and plan to use Dave for future projects.

Dave was very professional and pleasant to deal with. He was very meticulous on planning the layout of the tile/inserts, and was very neat while he worked. Our backsplash looks fantastic and we are very pleased. I would strongly recommend Dave to anyone!

Dave was amazing! Dave returned my voicemail within 24 hours and was able to come out within the same week to give an estimate. After receiving the estimate, my wife and I gave him a call back to schedule. He was able to start within a few weeks and gave us a chance to get all the supplies together. He was prompt and on time everyday and very easy to communicate with via phone or text messaging. Each day before he started he talk things over with my wife with updates and design suggestions. It also gave her a chance to ask any questions she had. The kitchen backsplash came out amazing and asked myself why I didn't do it sooner. In the bathroom, I did all the demo in the bathroom down to the studs. He provided and installed the backboard. We had provided a photo of a complex tile design we wanted in the shower and he was able to do it. He took him a week to complete everything due to the design and having to let things dry before preceding to the next step. Every day my wife and I would come home from work and the job site was clean. He is very trustworthily and did not worry about leaving him alone in the house. If you need something tiled, definitely give Dave a call you will not be disappointed.

It went great!  Dave is very professional and knowledgeable.  He suggested tiles that look great with our kitchen.  He was very punctual and an efficient worker.  We were provided with a quote which included all work included and informed us of the material which we were responsible for providing.  Once a date was agreed, a down payment was provided (1/3 of total cost).  The work performed was per quote and as discussed.  Floor looks great!  The area was very clean after work was completed.  The stove was re-installed.  We moved the refrigerator back ourselves to allow for a longer time for the floor to set.  We are very satisfied with the work completed and would hire Creation Tile for another job.
