We contacted 4 companies to request replacement of the custom cap (3 never showed up; one would not get up on the roof) before locating Chimney Toppers through Angie's List. They came out when promised, delivered an estimate, and installed the cap on schedule. The office support was courteous and helpful.

Company did a great job of recommending that I order wood-burning insert from Internet to get best price, and then they'd come and install once it arrived. They were good at giving advice on what type of insert would work best, and were flexible in arriving within a couple of days of delivery of the insert and installing it. The job only took a few hours and the guys doing the work were friendly and tidy.

Price was very reasonable and service was excellent. Family-owned and run business. Owner provided personal estimate for new unit. I asked him to add power washing of the chimney to remove rust and he agreed. All went perfectly. Great job!

They did a good job. He recommended that I should put something on the top of the chimney so I wouldn't loose heat and it would keep out all of the animals. They were top notch. They were very helpful and very knowledgeable. They knew I was getting an energy audit in two days, so they tried to get me the part. The company wasn't able to send it that fast but they tried.

Called the office and requested a quote. They said I did not need to be home and it would take a couple of days to come out. I heard that they were at my home later that day. I got a formal quote in the mail later that week. They were about $30 more than a similar unrated company that would not provide a written quote. So, I went with the written quote and Angie's rating. After sending a deposit, they gave me a call and left a message that they would be at my home to take measurements (I appreciated the advance notice). Within a week, they called and left a message that they would be out later that day for the install. I got another call to let me know that they would be unable to complete the power washing on the same day, but they would come back. Within a few days, I got another call with advance notice that they would be at the house to complete the power washing and job. I have not been up on a ladder to examine closely, but the cap and the power washed chimney look good from the ground. I would use them again.

They were very responsive when we contacted them by phone. They were back within a week to complete the work. They did a really great job. We were very pleased with the work. We had checked them on Angie's List and the ratings were not great, but found this service provider to be really good. I would recommend them without hesitation. Their prices were in fact very fair.

They came out to evaluate the job, gave an estimate, measured, ordered the cover and installed the new parts without any problems. All employees are very friendly, professional and helpful. They did a good job for a reasonable price. I asked them for an estimate on chimney cleaning and sealing, but this turned out to be a bit overpriced (cleaning $145, sealing $145 plus sealer $90). So we did not contract that work out.
