fantastic, these are the best and most reliable contractors and workers I've ever worked with. Honest, reliable, conscientious, high quality workmanship. They worked with us for about a year and still do some jobs for us. I would not go to anyone but Banyon ever again. And I know if they can't do the job, they'll say so but will find someone who can do it with the same quality they offer.

We contracted Banyon Construction to remodel a small master bath.  The majority of the work was performed by Dave.  While the renovation took a little longer than originally estimated we were extremely happy with the final results.  Dave was very meticulous, paid attention to details and took pride in his workmanship.  Ethan and Dave both offered design suggestions which were very useful.  We would definitely use them again in the future.

From our very first meeting with Greg and Ethan we knew that we were in good hands.  Their expertise, professionalism and pride were immediately evident and we could at once tell that they love what they do and have a tremendous amount of passion for it.  We met with several other prospective contractors in our preparation for this project and did not get anything approaching that feeling from any of them.  Based on that initial meeting and the other reviews here on Angie's List we chose Banyon for the work.  The project began in March 2014 and ended in July 2014 and our initial feelings turned out to be right on.  Our experience was the complete antithesis of the horror stories we always hear about bad contractors and we couldn't be more satisfied.  Greg and Ethan, as well as everyone else they brought in were absolutely outstanding in every way.  In terms of reliability they were here most every day Monday-Friday and even some Saturdays and they would always advise us if they could not make it for some reason.  They were always extremely friendly and accommodating to our needs and requests and kept us fully informed of the progress, timeline, and where things stood.  They were very respectful of our home-always cleaning up at the end of each day-and they even took care of some little odds and ends that they found on their own and we didn't ask them to do.  The entire project turned out fabulous and all of the work is stunning both in terms of workmanship and aesthetics.  We are very happy to give Banyon our highest recommendation and we most definitely plan to use them again and again-we have quite a bit more renovation to do on this 1976 classic of ours!  Thank you so much, Greg and Ethan, and all of your associates who made this project such a success!

Upon moving into our new house, we discovered that the bathtub in our son's bathroom was disgusting - we had to replace it.  I contacted Banyon based on Angie's List reviews, and Greg got back to me the same day.  The next day, he and Ethan came over to take a look at the project.  (We were only planning to replace the tub and surround; the rest of the bathroom can wait to be redone.)  Greg emailed me the estimate the next day, and he offered dates the following week to do the work - faster than usual, since they knew we really needed this bathroom to be functional!  We purchased the tub, surround, and fixtures at the "home improvement warehouse" and they picked them up.  The guys showed up bright and early at 7am on the first day of work and immediately started pulling out the old tub.  When I got home from work that day, I was amazed at how much progress had been made: the new stuff was in place!  Work was complete the next day, and the new tub/surround look great.  Everything works perfectly.  They also cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each work day.
We had a few minor surprises along the way: they needed to install an access panel in the nearby hall closet and install insulation behind the drywall (to comply with current code).  They asked for our approval to do the additional work and for the additional expenses, which were minimal.  In addition, at the end of day 1 I noticed that they had a big bucket of spackle mixed up, and I asked if they would mind spackling a huge hole near our front door.  (The movers had swung the front door open all the way and bashed the handle into the wall - and we hadn't gotten around to buying a doorstop yet.)  They did, teasing me that the most expensive doorstop was only $3.  Fast forward 2 days... I was walking through the front hall and suddenly noticed that we had a doorstop!  They had had to stop at the hardware store at some point and took care of our doorstop needs.  THAT is exactly the type of customer service that will keep us going back to Banyon for future projects.

Ethan was timely for first visit to discuss and measure, timely with estimate and responsive (cell & EMail) to follow-up questions and changes. Scheduling was convenient, and actually determined largely by the delivery of new shower unit components. So communications were maintained and responsive prior to, during, and for required finishing work. Being of non-standard size, the finishing trim remained to be completed when everything else was done. We discussed and I chose a matching marble Trim from shower unit mfgr. and Banyon arrived within 10 days to install that and complete the job at no addtl. cost. Banyon has a competent registered plumber (which I used but got the sense they would work with yours), experienced and capable craftsmen, and were professional and great at communicating beginning to end - And I remain comfortable with the price and the workmanship. I will use them again when a project comes up.

I can't say enough about this team. They're personable, clean and reasonable. They do great work and I will continue to bring them in for anything I need done on my next place. My current house is 110 years old, and I appreciated how dedicated they were to preserving the integrity of my home and using as many of the original components as they could. I was told three (lovely, old wavy glass windows) needed to be replaced but they brought them back to life. It was a perfect solution and more cost effective than the glass block or new casement windows that had been suggested to me!

From our first meeting of getting an estimate to the completion, Greg and Ethan were great to work with!!  Greg and Ethan have years of experience and combined make a fabulous team.  I love their creative design and the partnership we formed with them to have our project completed.  While we had a general idea of what we wanted, their willingness and ability to share their design ideas was the deciding factor to hiring them over others who provided an estimate.  Both were dedicated to doing the job right even if that meant taking a little longer to complete.  Ethan's attention to detail and keen eye for design was exactly what the intricate pattern of our Travertine floor tile needed.
Please note that the price listed only includes material they purchased (at cost) and labor.  Main products (tile, vanity, fixtures, etc.) were paid for and purchased by us directly.
We would definite give Greg and Ethan a call again for future projects!

I just recently purchased my first investment property and was concerned about buying something that needed fixing up.  A friend suggested I give Greg and Ethan at Banyon Construction a call and see if they could go out and look at the property.  They met me at the property and walked me through everything that needed to be done.They reassured me that it was all cosmetic repairs and that this property was a good investment.  They provided me with an estimate and a construction schedule for the job, since I needed to get it done ASAP so I could rent it.  They gutted the place and put in a new kitchen and two new bathrooms.  New tile flooring and hardwood as well.  New carpets throughout the place.  They finished it on schedule and under budget which was a plus.  I was very imoressed with thier ideas and the way they sourced materials form various sources to get the lowest prices for me.  The place came out great and I was able to get ti rented right away for the rent I wanted.  I cannot thank Greg and Etahn enough for all thier help and hard work.

It was a pleasure to work with Ethan and Greg! They helped me out with a bathroom redo - new sink, toilet, shower fittings and a new floor - the estimate came fast and was totally reasonable! They were in and out quickly, and kept the place really clean - that was great considering it was the holiday season!
