They are no longer in business.

Ray Ceglar was simply amazing.  We did not choose him, but he was chosen by our lender to re-appraise our property to help us get our first home loan.  Ray recognized the urgency of our position (having waited so much time for our first appraisal, which was denied by the lender) and was quick to come out, quick to write the appraisal, quick to re-write portions based on our lender's request.  His descriptions of the property and various aspects of the community were thorough and fascinating, to say the least.  
We could not have asked for a better appraiser.  (We had minimal direct contact with Ray throughout the process, but the little contact we had was superb and his appraisal description was excellent.  Please note that the appraised value was slightly lower than the original bad appraisal - just wanted to add this so that you know I'm not just giving him a good review b/c I receive a high appraisal.  I'm giving a good review b/c he was truly excellent in all our dealings and his speed kept us from losing the deal!)
When/if we need to buy our own appraisal in the future, we will be contacting Appraisal Centre before anyone else!
