The price is extremely high for the services provided. Case and point, Comcast in Baltimore (where I'm from), for the exact same thing I pay now a month, I would get: same speed internet, digital phone, double the amount of HD channels, same amount of digital boxes, plus all HBO and Starz channels, including HD.
Their "On Demand" is not friendly to use at all, and is PAINFULLY SLOW!!! Moving from one page to another takes about 20-30 seconds, assuming your remote recognized you pushed the button to scroll up/down/select a feature. The shows aren't listed in alphabetical order, as "Sons of Anarchy" shouldn't be listed under "B."
It's as if they know there is no other viable alternative, therefore they charge their rates. I really wish Comcast, TWC, Cox, or something other than Dish was available in this area. Sadly, even without another alternative, I'm still considering dropping their TV service and going High Speed only, and going streaming media (roku, smartTV, xbox, etc) instead.
