Shelby Roofing

John did a great job and he was on-site every day with his crew. Great quality and reasonably priced. Kept me informed daily on the progress. John is very detailed oriented. He was very helpful in getting samples so that my wife and I could pick out the right color for the siding. While putting up the siding over the garage, John told me that the flood light should be replaced. So I bought a new flood light and he installed it for me.

John was great! He got all the work done in 2 days, was very polite and professional. Unlike others we called for estimates, he listened to what we wanted and didn't try to sell us on anything extra. His prices are reasonable and his work is of wonderful quality. I really liked that he was on site and did the work himself (some with a helper).

He was good. He seemed honest. The main thing that I remember what that he seemed very honest and he seemed reasonably priced. We were told from somebody that our roof was old and that we probably would need a new roof and he was like "Oh no, your roof is great. You have like another 15 to 20 years." He was good.

I met John the owner repairing gutters in a near by neighborhood and asked the family about his work.  He was on time and performed the work himself.  Showed me which gutters needed to be replaced and why and all the ones that could be repaired to save money.  He started on time and finished the work minutes before a storm so I was able to see if the job was done right.  For the first time in a long time I could walk all around my home and not get soaked.  The gutters worked very, very well and the downspouts kept water from backing up around my foundation and around the house.  What a difference!  The job is well done and the price was the lowest of the three  bids I obtained.  After the storm there was no debris in the gutters due to the screens.

They were awesome. We got a number of estimates and their price was great. They did the roof when it was really hot. They were here day and night. They did a really great job.

He began working on the roof of our garage in November. He brought 2 workers with him. He was walking through the exterior of my home and explaining things very quickly because it seemed he wanted to leave as soon as possible.  He left shortly after that and left his 2 workers there. I felt the roof over my garage was not professionally done and the workmanship was poor.  They did work hard but I feel that the roof just looks awful. I have tried to contact them in regards to this issue but he denied there was anything wrong with it.  I will add, he was quite willing to do extra things for me, and was nice about it.

John Days, owner of Shelby Roofing, met me at my house promptly, at a time which was convenient for me.  He listened to my questions and comments, and then he gave me good advice during a walk around the house.  He gave me a ballpark estimate for the work to be done.  This ballpark estimate was exactly what he charged for the job once it was done. 
On the day of the job, John and an assistant came promptly at the time we had agreed upon.  John and his assistant were courteous, neat, and got the work done quickly.  They cleaned up after themselves, and left my house and yard exactly as they had found it. 
Since he did the work, all of the roofing problems and gutter problems I had were corrected and have stayed corrected.  I have had no need to call Shelby Roofing for any further work or adjustments. 
I had use the services of Shelby Roofing on my previous house, to caulk and seal leaks around the roof line, and I was satisfied then too.
I intend to use Shelby Roofing for any future roofing or gutter job I have.  I would recommend John Days and Shelby Roofing to family and friends without any reservations. 

The service was just as ordered.  The workers were punctual, neat, and quick.  Although the job required a bit more materials than John Days had estimated, he completed the job for the original estimate.

This is the second time I have hired Shelby Roofing to do a job.  Both times I was very pleased with the quality of the work, the price, and the overall service.

I have recommended Shelby Roofing to a coworker and she has been very happy with the work done and the serivce.

UPDATE:  Mid-January 2012, the work John Days did is solid as a rock.  We've been through some very windy, rainy periods since John fixed the roof and gutters.  All good. Thanks, John!
