Mattress Factory

The salesman (Bernie?) gave me his undivided attention (although the store was empty and I was the only other person there). Bernie asked what I was looking for (twin mattress). He then showed me several mattresses (all the same type and manufacturer) with different firmness. I decided the 'plush' was the firmness that I wanted. Bernie then started to discuss the specific mattress he had in mind. I also looked at a less expensive model. Obviously Bernie tried to steer me to the higher quality/more expensive mattress but not in a bad way. I decided to go with the more expensive mattress. The paperwork (hand-written, no computer) was completed and delivery scheduled for the coming Tuesday (today was Friday). I need to pay the driver, $39 in cash. The driver will call Monday with a four-hour window for delivery. I received the call on Monday and delivery was scheduled for Tuesday between 2 and 6 pm. The mattress was delivered at 5:20 pm and (after setting up), the driver left in about 5 minutes. So far there have been no problems encountered with the sale, delivery or the mattress itself.
