This was a very pleasant experience. I had recently replaced the hot water heater and unfortunately, there was some water damage to the carpet and floor. Charles explained very clearly what he would do. He gave me a quote for the cost of the labor. Then I went to the store and picked out wood laminate and vinyl flooring. Charles and his crew came on time, they were very courteous, and focused on the work. They even moved things out of the closet downstairs and offered to tile that area even though it was not included originally. They were here 2 days. The end result was beautiful. The floors look great. You could tell they paid great attention to detail. When it was finished, Charles had me inspect the entire area. I would definitely recommend Charles and his crew for any floor work.

Update: I really like this floor overall. Some problems with quality:
I noticed some loosening of the kitchen floor by the sink. I am pretty sure this is not water damage as there has been no overflow of the sink or other flooding.
Also the dividers at the doorways came loose and there is some peeling. I glued the one down.

Overall I still think it was a good job but I did want to update.

Charles returned my call promptly and was on time for our scheduled meeting to prepare a quote. He brought samples for me to review which gave me a good idea of the product range offered. I eventually needed to go to visit his suppliers showroom as after some discussion Charles and I decided I needed a grade of carpet in between the samples he had brought (my situation was not a typical homeowner purchase). Once we had the carpet on order a date was set to install the carpet. Charles had the job done in a few hours giving me a walkthrough of the completed job making sure i was satisfied before they left. They worked cleanly and the new carpeting looks great at a good price.

Charles was, without a doubt, the most professional contractor I have ever worked with. He exceeded every expectation he set for me. I called him and told him I needed carpeting stretched within the next two weeks. He said he could do the job and would call me in a few hours, after he had a chance to check his calendar. He called back a few hours later and we set a date to have the job done. He showed up on time, examined the affected areas, and estimated how many hours it would take. He and his helper worked quickly and professionally. They were finished in the estimated amount of time. They were polite, cleaned up after themselves and did wonderful work. I would highly recommend Doyle Floor Coverings to anyone.

Charles returned my initial phone call immediately, gave us an estimate within several days. Once we decided to use his company, we had the floors installed 2 weeks later and they look great!! Definitely the lowest estimate we received and he did a great job! Would definitely use again.
