Harold Myers Fuel

I use Harold Myers Fuel.  It's a family owned business.  I've never had a problem with them.  They're another one of those companies, it's family owned, it's almost like having a family member coming to my house.  What they have is, they offer a contract where you buy your oil up front for a year, and then every two years they clean my heater.  That's pretty much the extent of it.  I'm a retired civil engineer, so I do most of my work myself.  In fact, the property that I bought here was a fixer-upper and my retirement plan was to fix it up, so that keeps me busy and gives me something to do every day.  The heating system which they installed is a high tech system.  It's not like the cr** you buy, like a Carrier or one of these other brands.  For cost, I don't really have a service contract.  It's up to me; if I just call them and say I need you to clean my heater, they'll come out.  There's no yearly fee or anything.  I have a contract to buy oil at a set price that I anticipate in each year.  Anybody can get their service, even if you don't buy oil from them, I think.  When I first bought this house back in the 80's, I had this company as my oil provider.  The oil heater broke on Christmas Eve.  Who you gonna get to come out to fix your oil heater?  The father came out on Christmas Eve and fixed it for us, and I never forgot that.  So I'm a loyal customer because they took care of us when we needed the help.  Myers is like an A all the way down.  I've never had a problem with them, ever. 

I have used this company for about 8 years now.  Fuel delivery always when needed, price fair.  They replaced my oil heater 6 years ago and service it every year.  Neat, clean, professional.  I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an oil delivery service and general heater, hot water needs.
